I had my whole house cabled for TV 3 years ago and promised a 5 year guarantee.
The fitting went well and an issue within first 18 months sorted.
Then 11 days ago I lost my signal in all rooms. Phoned a week ago Monday and was told an engineer would ring me within 24 hours.
I emailed Holly in office to say I had not heard back and she promised me I would get a call last Wednesday. No call so I contacted her again on Thursday when she said let’s book you a visit fur tomorrow (Last Friday) I then had a recorded message Friday pm saying the engineer couldn’t get to me and he would be with me first thing on Monday. Monday came and went with another recorded message saying he would be with me yesterday. Again a recorded message to say he would be with me on Wednesday 11 days after my signal failed.
At 2.30pm today I had a call to say the engineer is available and will be with you in the next hour which would have given him about 40 minutes of daylight to fix the issue on the roof.
What they didn’t know was that I had the issue fixed in 10 minutes by a local arial company at a cost of £15 last Thursday as I had absolutely no confidence that they were going to come out to me. I paid this company nearly £500 when they did the work primarily to get a 5 year guarantee which was ignored when it mattered.
This company lied to me for over a week. If they had said to me look sir we really can’t get to you in a few days at the start I could understand it but to say they were coming day in day out without any intention is unforgivable.
I won’t be calling them again and suggest you stay clear of these liars.

after a frustrating 3 days trying to contact someone for technical assistance , ( recorded messages inviting to book online are not great for building customer's confidence in after-sales service) a very helpful engineer turned up and finished the installation job properly in 10 minutes. thank you i suggested the contact page by email should be at the top of the website and not hidden way down towards the end. but never mind job done now and working.

Booked a Saturday morning appointment for my TV aerial connection to be looked at, appointment was. Appointment was confirmed via email. Stayed in all morning, requested a call back via link in text (Nothing). Tried ringing but got automated message. Eventually got phone call but was a automated recorded message. I then decided to cancel booking as I go out on a Saturday afternoon. Disappointed.

Had the engineer out to refit my aerial. He was lovely and spent ages on the roof. However, after he left we had even less stations to watch as TV just Sat's no signal. I have tried multiple ways to contact this firm to ask them to come back to repair as the job is under guarantee. 2 weeks on and I still haven't found a way to get in contact with them. So disappointed with the service

BE VERY AWARE
Used this company without reading the reviews. Big mistake. Booked an engineer for my elderly mother. Unfortunately I was unable to be there with her. While waiting for the engineer to arrive (late) and not knowing if he was going to turn up, no way of communicating with a person as it’s all on line and answer service is automated, I rang a local service who told me to be very wary of this company and not to pay more than £225 for a new aerial/dish. The engineer eventually arrived at my mother’s and someone from the company rang to say it would be £290. I said no and immediately he quoted £240. Told him a local firm would come tomorrow for £225. He said as the engineer was there it would £225. I agreed and paid over the phone. To be fair my mother said the engineer was polite and professional and to my knowledge carried out the work as agreed.
Be suspicious of any quote you get if you want to use HDS. I would advise that you don’t bother. Supposed to be getting a three year guarantee…. still waiting!

Home Digital Services advertise a free call out and assessment. They arrived last Tuesday 14th November as we were having signal problems. The engineer went in the loft and tested the aerial and said it was all OK. He did not check any TVs or TV points. I thought that was it. Just after he left the office called to say that would be £53 and the engineer rang the bell and took the payment on his card reader. I stupidly paid and wish I hadn't. Firstly there is no mention of this fee on their website. Secondly the TVs in our house are still not working. We are both older people with low incomes and the TV is one of our simple pleasures in life. I contacted the Company (HOME DIGITAL SERVICES part of WUDHUS LTD based in Mansfield. 20 + emails later, nothing from them. I've had so many replies saying our issue has been elevated to the highest levels but still nothing has happened. This company also advertises as HDS Kidderminster. In our view this is very misleading as they're based in Mansfield.

I have repeatedly asked for a refund to no avail. All you get is broken promises that it's been escalated to the highest level. By now it must be sky somewhere in the outer stratosphere.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNTRUTHFUL AND USE MISLEADING ADVERTS
THE WEBSITE STATES THAT ANY WORK TO BE DONE WILL BE AGREED AND NO OBLIGATION. THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.
THE ONLY TIME PAYMENT WAS MENTIONED, WAS AFTER THE ENGINEER LEFT AND SOMEONE CALLED TO REQUEST THE PAYMENT.

THIS US SHOCKING AND AS OLDER PEOPLE WE FEEL VERY CONNED AND HUMILIATED. WE ARE REPORTING TO WORCESTERSHIRE TRADING STANDARDS.

Made an appointment for a quote. First received day automated call cancelling the appointment. Second day the same. Third day supposed to have a priority morning appointment, again a no show. I've now cancelled. Feeling happier already.

We have just moved into a new house and had no WiFi connected until 2 days ago.
The WiFi engineer was useless & put the home hub nowhere near where I wanted it. Hence the t.v. wouldn't connect properly.
I rang Home Digital Services & explained the problem.
Their engineer (Lee) called early the next morning, and having diligently worked through all the wiring & ariel problems, got us back up & running again, also offering sound advice on how to address the home hub problem.
A little pricey, but the workmanship & attitude were spot on, so well worth it for the piece of mind he has given us.
If we encounter any other problems of this nature, I will not hesitate to call them again.
