Engineer Martin Heddon created a renovation project for us that we didn't even dare imagine. Martin carried out a structural survey for us for the removal of a supporting wall to create an open plan kitchen/diner. His calculations, drawings and advice were professional, detailed and gave me the reassurance needed for carrying out structural work. Double dormer structure update.
We recently moved into a 1950s semi with a double dormer loft conversion which has a structural stud wall built utilising the original king post truss bisecting the space. The proposed new layout requires removal of this. Martin was engaged early in the process and provided sound advice throughout. He understood our requirements well and designed a solution which will enable us to achieve current building regs whilst being able live in the property while the work is done. Martin has been an asset in getting our refurb project back on track after building control flagged a few issues that were set to cause significant delays.
