Not a bad word to say about the staff or practice. Since moving to the area and joining the surgery we have been very happy with the level of service from HM. We have two young children and never have any issues getting an appointment. I also had all my maternity appointments here which I couldn’t fault. Text reminders are sent, appointments are thorough and detailed. Great practice!

Was called back at 12 today, and had a doctors review over the phone very helpful, being to sick to go and collect my medication I asked for it to be sent to my local pharmacy for. Family member to collect, not available and nothing had been sent over, message sent to doctors at 14:15 and still no reply from them, on calling up again at 16:58 I was told they still have no opened the message and nothing they could do, the woman on the phone was to busy stuffing her face with sweats while talking to me when I asked could you ask the doctor I was told no because she is in clinic, I explained my pharmacist closes at 6, response was oh right well there’s not a lot I can do is there. I’ve been with this doctors since birth so 89……..this honestly made me question how much the receptionists care bout your health and why the NHS gets a bad rap.

The last couple of times I’ve visited the practice I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed with the support of the staff, reception have been friendly and helpful, the drs and nursing staff have listened and offered support and guidance to myself and previously other members of my family. I have seen several staff members over the past year and all have been great, I feel the surgery has definitely taken a proactive approach to previous negative feedback.
Thank you so much

This is singlehandedly the WORST doctors experience.
Their phone lines dont work, and havent for months. they will answer your call, repeat ''hello!?... hello!?.. can you call us back?''
(no my phone isnt broken)
you put down the phone, call them back, and now youre number 5 in the queue. You will wait until youre answered and then they will repeat the same.
(EDIT) they answered, said hello ONCE and hung up on me. back to que i go

After suffering with pain for over 10 years and already undergone 3 joint replacements I felt like no one was interested in helping me. I'd requested referrals for investigations and was on 'waiting list' at the practice for cortisone injections in my hands for 18 months and every time I enquired I was told there was no one available to do it.

I saw Sara in the extended clinic on Thursday 13th June and finally found someone who listened and understood. In disbelief herself that after 3 joint replacement surgeries before the age of 50 that no-one had referred me for investigations.

In one appointment she made a referral to rheumatology, organisesd blood test forms and the next day, contacted me with a date for the injections in my hands. Above all, she listened, cared and treated me like a human and I cannot thank her enough.

Thank you Sara

Contrary to the other reviews I had a very good experience.

I used the PATCHES app to fill out a form on what a wanted an appointment for and got a call around 15 minutes later asking to come in the next day.

When I got there the staff were very polite and totally professional.

ADHD assessment was wonderful and very thorough, however follow-up has been appalling. After 3 months I rang to chase up the reports from the appointment and was told the Doctor has forgotten to write up the long report, I was told the short version would be sent to me and my GP. GP received nothing. After 6 months I went to the GP to see what help is available, they couldn’t help me because they still hadn’t received any reports. I rang Haydock the same day and was told that me and my GP would receive the long report, I received it straight away, three weeks later, GP still hasn’t received it. When I received the long report there were many in accuracies in it including being misgendered several times and crucial information about me was incorrect. My GP has told me that everything has to be done on their end so honestly I’m not holding out much hope that I’ll be receiving any support anytime soon.

On hold for 17 minutes, finally get to number 1 for them to terminate the call. I call again and after a further 15 minutes on hold I get to number 1 again for them to answer and then put the phone down. Absolute joke
