Extremely helpful and polite. Had a road side issue with the wheel on my car, had an estimated wait time of 4 and a half hours from the RAC. Rang Si at Hatherley Engineering and he came down within 5 minutes and solved my issue. 10/10 would recommend.

Visiting family in the area we had a flat tire on a Saturday morning, Simon was amazingly helpful and repaired and bent wheel and replaced the tire.
He couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. I would consider bringing my car down from Oxfordshire to have him service it after the experience I had.

AMAZING Garage.

Simon is a brilliant mechanic and a great guy. He has been absolutely incredible. I travelled down from Newcastle and my exhaust was broken. He helped me out last minute and did absolutely everything he could to help me get back on the road. He went the extra mile and completely sorted my car (which is actually a miracle!)

A top-notch, trustworthy mechanic who is also very affordable. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Best garage EVER. Thank you Simon. We need more mechanics like you!

So thankful to Simon at Hatherley Engineering, and I could not recommend him enough!!! On a 3 hour journey from my University to get home for Easter, my car's windscreen wiper suddenly broke off and blew away in the heavy rain on the busy A35. Stranded and unable to carry on driving in the harsh weather conditions, I found Simon's business and telephone number on Google, and was so relieved when he said he would be able to help. Luckily, his garage was only 2 minutes from where I had pulled over, and once the rain had settled I was able to drive over. Simon quickly identified the problem, and ordered the new part which, to my amazement, arrived within a remarkably quick 20 minutes!! He expertly fitted the new blade, and I was ready to set off again, far quicker than I could have imagined or hoped for.

I feel really lucky for this experience, as without Simon's help I would have been unable to get home in the stormy weather, and could have been stranded in an unfamiliar location overnight. Not to mention, the fee was very reasonable, especially as garages are known for being pricey!! Simon was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and even offered me a cup of tea whilst I was waiting. Thanks to his help I was able to quickly get back on the road and continue my journey. Without him, I don't know what I would have done! I am really grateful to you Simon, thanks for everything.

Simon responded immediately to my call for help after my engine overheated rather dramatically on the A35 not far from his garage. He identified the problem which was a badly leaking radiator pipe which he replaced and I was able to continue with my day. And on a very wet Saturday afternoon as well. He is knowledgable, helpful and friendly. I will certainly go to Hatherley Engineering again and recommend. Thank you Simon!

Brilliant service, excellent knowledge and extremely considerate of keeping costs managed. High pressure intercooler pipe went, Instead of accepting costly part from France which would have taken time and cost more, Simon organized for local contact to make a part at a fraction of price, fitted and tested, done a brilliant job. Can't recommend enough and will be sure to send any future work his way.
