Ordered a takeaway, however when we unpacked it at home the fish was awful. Cod should never be served in a flat square shape!!

This is a mixture of English and Chinese food which is nice if you wanted a choice for a take out. I had fish and chips. The fish wasn't cooked as I would call traditionally as not very crispy batter, but good portion size. My partner had just a Beef chowmein and said it was nice. We parked in the local carpark behind the Co op as easier to walk up the road to fish shop which only took a couple of minutes. Lovely family run shop and very Friendly. Service was quick and a nice warm reception on arrival.

I had fish chips & peas a couple of weeks ago and it tasted good although the portion size is small. Then I’ve just tried the Chinese and for my taste I was disappointed as it didn’t taste great. The portion sizes are small across the board here.
Worth a visit for their chips alone as they’re truly tasty. The staff are clean, polite and helpful.

Really fast service and a good quality takeaway. Cod was small but the batter was crispy and not too greasy, the fish flaked and tasted great. Overall it was up there for a good chippy but it’s definitely on the expensive side for the portion size that you get

Visited back in January and 2 curry sauces were forgotten off the order and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again tonight after several months. I have to say all 4 of us were most disappointed. Our cod was very dry and rubbery on the edges and the chips were dry aswell. We made extra curry sauce at home just to try and make it more edible but there was barely no difference. Definitely wont be back again!

Order food to pick up, big order 10 people, they got it spot on. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Chips are lovely and have to mention the pea fritters. Reasonably priced.

I have been to many chip shops around the UK but no place so far has beaten the satisfaction of eating from here, the serving is quick, the staff are friendly and most importantly the fish and chips are to die for. Highly recommended ?

Lovely staff fairly quick service ,fish was fresh but batter was soggy small portion of chips for nearly £4.00 total for 2 over £20 ,wouldn't go back sorry
