We hired the Vic Olley Room for our boy's 1st birthday and it was perfect! Good size, enough for a buffet, balloons and soft play and seating for guests. It has a door that leads out onto a bench area and a very well kept children's play area. It also had AV equipment for sideshows etc. which was very easy to use. We hired the bar for the party and this went ok but as it is shared with the public, got a bit busy at times so I would suggest perhaps dividing the bar for party guests and general public so it didn't get confusing. Luckily it wasn't that busy in the cafe and it worked out OK. A lovely day all in all and would definitely hire again for future functions!

A nicely looked after village hall. The only complaint would be is the sign for the hall isn't very clear especially at night.

This is a lovely hall to hold birthday parties
There is also a community café there aswell
We had our soft play out on hire there for a little girls birthday

Went here with family, a lovely cafe, friendly staff. There is plenty of food choice, good prices. Play park for little ones to enjoy. Will be returning

The HP Village Hall has become a pleasure to visit since the opening of the Community Cafe. Everybody that helps to run it is friendly, & helpful . Recently my husband died and the Hall was chosen to hold his Wake. I was given compassionate help to book what ever combination of rooms that could be hired, catering advice and details of everything available to enhance the occasion.
Family and friends were complimentary about the venue and surprised by the quality of our "village hall" & it's facilities including the recreation ground and exercise equipment.
Belinda's catering generosity was widely commented on & admired. Thank you.
