Greenford is the terminus of the very odd GWR shuttle to West Ealing, and today I thought let’s ride it. Greenford station itself is a pretty standard station however I do like it a lot. It would have been one huge island platform for the Central line but because of the GWR I guess it’s like 4 platforms! You can get in from both sides of the train which is quite nice. The station and trains through here are usually never busy and overall an interesting place to visit.

Greenford Station is served by the Central line & GWR trains there are 3 platforms here along with a lift from the ticket hall area to the platforms. The ticket hall area is large and wide with lots of room however there is only 4 ticket barriers to use. There is a cab office inside the ticket hall along with a sweet shop and coffee shop too. Busy station with lots of passengers.

You can find the central line and Great Western Railway service running towards West Ealing at this station. One could use both 395 and 92 bus routes to get to Greenford station. Nothing to complain hence giving 5 stars.

Good station. No complexity in finding the exit. It accommodates both London Underground train serviced by Central Line and Tfl train service. One escalator for passengers going to the platforms and staircase for passengers coming out of the platforms.

A lot of road closures and bus diversions happening as of today 27.08.24 avoid the area if possible

First thing's first. The lift is really, REALLY cool. It's a small but nice station with the central line and GWR services stopping here. 5/5

Greenford is a lovely West Middlesex multicultural town. Situated on the bank of the River Brent. The town in served well by public transport. By both train and by bus.
The town has a long rich history. Which stretches right back to Saxon times. First being recorded in the year 845 ad.
The town centre has a good mix of shops of which some cater for Polish and Asian communities. As well as the traditional England community.
