Just picked up my new bike from Destination Triumph. Matt and the team are a great bunch and I would recommend going there if you’re looking for a new motorbike. (September 2024)
However be aware they don’t do aftercare and it didn’t take them long to disappoint.
5 weeks with a new bike and the heated grips stopped working. Not a big problem but the customer care is the worst…
I called in to see if someone could look at the problem and was told not till the end of November (5 weeks wait) I explained I need to use the bike and that was why I got a new bike but nothing they could do. They had got my money and didn’t care. I left feeling very disappointed but I have to say JS Gedge Triumph in St Leonards-on-Sea, know what customers care is about. They booked me in within 2 days even though I hadn’t bought the bike from them and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. All the team at JS Gedge Triumph were so friendly and know how to treat a customer.
I will be only using JS Gedge Triumph in St Leonards-on-Sea from now on.
I would advise you avoid destination Triumph.

I would strongly advise avoiding Destination Triumph, particularly the Washington branch. My father and I each purchased brand new bikes, and the experience has been nothing short of appalling. Initially, the sales team were helpful, but as soon as the sale was complete, the aftercare disappeared entirely.

We bought what we were told were 2024 models, but upon further inspection, we discovered the bikes were fitted with tyres from 2022. This raised serious concerns about whether we were mis-sold the bikes as updated 2024 versions, especially since they were supposed to resolve known engine vibration issues. On top of this, the tyres themselves were part of a major safety recall, which we had to discover on our own.

What’s worse is that this recall has been active in the US for weeks, yet no proactive warning or urgent action was taken to ensure our safety here in the UK. The dealership refuses to answer simple questions about the bikes or address our concerns directly, instead pushing us towards an ombudsman and dragging out the process.

The lack of transparency, accountability, and customer care is shocking for a dealership representing a premium brand like Triumph. My father and I feel completely let down, and we will now go out of our way to ensure others do not fall into the same trap.

If you value your safety, money, and time, take your business elsewhere. Based on our experience, this dealership only cares about the sale, not the customer.

Bought a bike through the Washington branch…really wish I hadn’t. Very helpful initially and brought a bike down from their Dorset branch for me to purchase after I saw it online…..when I went to collect the bike I was sat for a very long time waiting….there was an issue with taxing the bike/locating the logbook which turned out to be a good thing for me (so I was told) as I wouldn’t have to pay for the tax as they had to do it in person at the Dorset branch…..turned out to definitely not be a good thing….sat for even longer then eventually told all was good and I could go on my way….i asked for proof that bike was taxed and I was told it would be sent to me shortly via email….not comfortable riding without proof of tax I rode straight home and put the bike in the garage and that is where it has stayed since picking it up…..the proof of tax never came and neither did proof of the 24 month warranty which I was told came with it despite me chasing both several times….i also later spotted that the registration and mileage were incorrect on the purchase invoice…..anyway a week down the line and the bike still showed as untaxed and after I made a complaint and queried all of this I was told that I can reject/return the bike and they would collect it but I would not be refunded until I received the V5 and then returned it to them….lots of back and forth emails later and the saga still goes on nearly 2 weeks later the bike is still showing as untaxed, no v5 has materialised nor has one been issued according to gov website and the bike has still not been collected by the dealer! After this experience I would definitely not recommend this company!

Fantastic service from start to finish of purchasing my new bike, they are only too happy to help with advice and making sure you are satisfied with everything, all the staff are friendly I have met so far and would especially like to say a big thank you to Luke for all his help an advice, I highly appreciate and recommend Destination Triumph Washington.

Great customer service and helpful throughout the process, however what is outside there control is the finance companies who make buying a new bike so stressful with AI generated questions that make no sense, and for some drag up old and sometimes emotional feelings from the past. I was asked a question from over 30 years ago which had no bearing on my life. (pointless) The lack of interaction takes the fun out of purchasing a new vehicle. However after a week of stressful computer work my bike arrived and went out on it straight away, all smiles now.

This dealship is definitely located in an idea location being right on a very busy bikers route, that day we actually rode there just to check out the bikes for a bit of fun. We were the for probably 30 minutes looking at bikes but not once did any staff come and talk to us. There were some very nice bikes on show and I must admit I would like to return for a demo day. Parking can be a pain I can imagen, especially if you were to turn up in a car, we arrived on bikes and found it easy enough.

I took out 2 Tigers a 660 sport and a 900..
Great bikes and I am considering my options on them .
Then I saw a nice BMW 1200 gs and that tempted me too.

Ryan at Destination Triumph Washington was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, helped me choose an appropriate bike and was very quick at replying to emails. Very good experience with triumph in general.
