My experience of this company has been very positive and I would ignore the negative reviews because they describe the complete opposite of my experience. I sent a damaged Passport hard drive for recovery which contained a large number of family photos dating back many years. Staff were helpful, friendly and explained the options open to me, including enhanced recovery services, but with no obligation. I really liked the fact that there was no requirement to make any payment until the recovery of my data was confirmed. In the end I was able to access and save 24000 photos that I thought were lost including many of my son as a baby and toddler. Great service and I would highly recommend. Prices compare very favourably to other companies I considered.

On their website it says you’ll get sent a list of retrievable data so you can decide whether or not to go ahead. I received an email saying I’d cost me £695 plus vat just to find out if any data could be retrieved. And if it could, then I’d have to give them another £195 plus vat to have it sent to me. I understand that they’ll want money if they’re going to spend a lot of time and effort trying to get something to work. But as someone who knows nothing about hard drives, their website made it seem like it’d be fairly straightforward. I didn’t realise that I would possibly have to pay out a lot of money and risk getting nothing back. This could be made clearer on their website so people know all possibilities. It was collected and posted back to me for free so that is a positive
