I'm not sure what happened...customer service is usually good, but my visit to the post office on September 24, 2024, about 15:00 left me with a bad impression of your customer service. I've been in retail for over ten years and have never been so bitter when a customer asked me a question. Your employees may be in a hurry, but they can maintain a calm, polite demeanour. I will absolutely seek assistance elsewhere if I need to send any parcel or documents from now on!

Post office crap and they always shut early .
And post office head post master very rude
And now shut at 1800 well 1740 Really !!! and not 7 .
Mr bates got right about post office.
And would do better job too!

Unfortunately, every time I've gone in the staff are incredibly rude and condescending. I've decided that it's worth the drive to a different one to avoid them all together.

Got "oh that's too big we can't take that" and then refused to take my parcel because they haven't got the space and told me to take it to Dorcan sorting office even though Parcelforce will only collect from post office, absolute joke!

Use this Post Office regularly and cannot understand all the negative comments about the staff. I have only been dealt with in a very professional manner. The ladies are under pressure a lot of the time but the queues go down in a reasonable time. Customers need to be a bit more patient. Well done all the ladies in the Post Office for giving us good Customer service.

Went in to collect my parcel that was delivered on Friday and was told they didn’t have it. Went in again on the Saturday and also told they didn’t have it even tho I had photo proof it was delivered. I went in AGAIN Monday and showed the lady the photo that it was delivered and she was extremely rude to me saying because its Evri it should not be delivered here and I am not allowed to have any parcels at all delivered to the post office ! Explained it was an accident that I put the address down but also asked why I’ve been on two times and no one has found it when it’s been by the till the whole time. She was extremely rude to me and kept repeating they should not be collecting parcels from Evri in and I shouldn’t be getting it delivered their ( like it was my fault someone took the parcel in when they shouldn’t have ). I don’t know what her name was but someone like that should not be working in customer service it was disgusting and embarrassing as there was a queue of people behind me. It was the older lady with grey hair so if you see her stay clear !

It’s important to realise there’s a difference between the Post Office Staff and the newsagent staff. Unfortunately the newsagent staff can be involved as a buffer to the PO counter as they provide some services.

I actively avoid using this PO counter due to a member of the newsagent staff.

I’ve avoided Covingham post office for a few years as it always seemed to have moody staff. Recently I’ve needed to use it three times and was pleasantly pleased with the ladies working there. Especially Sauda. On my second visit I was served by another lady who was still being trained and Sauda was training her and serving other customers at the same time, then when the postcode I’d been given wouldn’t work she looked up the correct one for me. Brilliant service! I won’t be avoiding Covingham post office anymore.
