In February 2023 my Mother after a long spell in hospital was ready for discharge and we wanted to get her back home , we engaged Caring Folk through a social worker and the team from the off exceeded expectations. The level of care that was provided was outstanding with the carers being very engaging and taking the time to get to know and have conversations with my Mum about the local area , any issues we were informed and the all round team were so easy to get on with . After a few months Mum decided she wanted to go into care as she was becoming lonely in her own home , I actually think having people coming in made her want more company. A big thanks to the team for being there in this important stage of Muriel's life and the whole care and office team are a credit to themselves and the industry , I would recommend them to anyone. After an horrendous experience with a care company not too far away from Caring Folk this company is a breath of fresh air. You pretty much don’t even need to ask them to do things, they do it off their own back. I completely trust this company with my father’s life and I’m overwhelmed by how caring they are. My brother and I found ourselves unexpectedly becoming primary carers for our mum several years ago, following the unexpected passing of our dad. Caring Folk was there to support us massively at the beginning and throughout our mum's journey living with dementia to the end, which we wouldn't have been able to do without them.

I would highly recommend Jess and her team.
They cared for my mum for the 7 months prior to her passing in November and the care they provided was second to none.
My mum was 100 years old but still able to have “banter” with her new best friends and the bonds they made were amazing to witness.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them. They treated my mum with total respect and dignity throughout.
The communication was fantastic and I knew mum was in good hands. They became like a second family to me and each and every one of the team will always have a place in my heart.

The Caring Folk team have been providing care and support to my Father and Stepmother for the past 2 years. During this time I have got to know Jess and her team well. I am extremely grateful for the help they have provided particularly during COVID and living so far from my parents. The team have been consistent, flexible to meet the needs which have varied over time. The carers have always been very friendly and thorough in meeting my parents needs. They have provided vital social interaction when visiting was very challenging. Jess has gone above and beyond to provide care and support to my Father , being able to respond to his needs very quickly which has been so reassuring. Jess is an excellent communicator, providing an effective link between myself and other local health and social care professionals.She runs an efficient and well organised service. She always returns calls very quickly which is so helpful. I would definitely recommend Caring Folk to anyone looking for a care package/ support.
