The Sheppey Cancer Research store is lovely. Easy to donate (although be aware there are restrictions) and the staff are lovely. It’s been really nice to have a store that adds to a sense of community and we’ve enjoyed going there to both donate and to purchase. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers there for your friendly smiles!

Unlike a couple of the previous reviewers have said, I have never problems with this branch of Cancer charity shop accepting any of my donations, in face they have even come and collected furniture to re-sell in the shop. My gripe us that on two recent occasions when I have actually dropped donations off, I've not even received a thank you. Staff totally ignore you. This will be the last time I will be donating here. I will take my donations to another shop that actually appreciates my gifting. I hope the Manager of this shop actually takes the bother to read what has been written here, both from myself and others. Whatever shop you are in whether it's paid work or voluntary, you shouldn't be exempt from giving Customer Service.

What a lovely well planned out charity shop.
Went in on Sunday, to donate items and the staff were very hot and busy! They were unable to take my donations as they had alot in over the weekend, but kindly explained why and suggested I rung them up the next day to arrange for me to take them back. As they really didn't want to turn me away. I could see they were full to the brim and was happy to keep hold of them.
What a great job they do as they even explained the process to me I didn't no the were self efficient well done to all the staff and voulanteers.

Donated to this store twice and each time found the staff to be so rude and passive aggressive, both times turning me away.
Brand new, still sealed blu rays and games.

After telling them that their are families out there struggling and they will make less unfortunate people happy and if they didnt take them the bin outside the shop will have them, to which they shouted at me, FINE GIVE IT HERE.

Last straw was today, again not taking items, AGAIN. After being as polite i can.
The responses we got was. We can't take that. When asking why, they said BECAUSE.
No actual response.

Such a horrible shop. I would be ashamed if i was the manager of that place and everyone that works there i would have their backsides out pronto and hire people that actually care.

I will be writing to head office, this is the not charity that i hold close to my heart.

Highly recommend demelza or facebay to people that need help.

They need to realise people are donating out the goodness of their heart and this charity is very important to alot of people and the shop alone has tarnished the brand and charity for me im afraid.

in the past I have donated to this charity with a good heart. However today I turned up with more charity goods only to be advised they cannot take it today due to backlog of donations. This is such a pity as I have some good useful items to donate. My wife called on Friday and was told we could bring them in on Monday so it has been a waste of my valuable time and fuel.
Sorry to say I will no longer be donating to this charity.

Absolutely diabolical customer service from this so called charity shop! The rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune to come across!
All I wanted was a refund on a faulty CD player to be told I’m lying and the player was fine no chance to explain shot down by a total jobs worth with zero customer skills! I strongly advise not to buy electrical items from here not tested properly and then the sheer hatred you get for asking for a refund I will not be coming here again and will advise anyone who doesn’t want a row not to either.

Great Charity shop. Lots to see & but. The customer service is the Bestest Ever. I never leave the shop without making a purchase of 2-3 items. Its usually more, being honest, asthe prices are what one can afford.
