We saw about information about ACE from the Motor Ombudsman, Graham contacted us quickly after we filled out our information (other firms just didn't get in touch), he explained the process and even though it was over Christmas, within about 2 weeks we had a brilliant engineer (Andy) come out and inspect our land rover. Andy was incredibly knowledgeable and spent time explaining to us the issues with our car and we knew exactly what to expect from our report. We were fortunate that it did go in our favour and we're now finally at the point of returning the vehicle after a painful few months with the dealer. Graham was also on hand to answer some follow-up queries we had so we were really pleased with the service!

I had an issue with a used Renault from the Renault dealer in Wakefield. The finance company advised me to obtain a vehicle inspection to back up my complaint. I was up against time but the report was issued within my time limit. The engineer was thorough, and the office staff helpful. The report did back my claim and I won my case against the dealer (through the finance). The dealer are still disputing the case but the finance company accepted the report and are now dealing with them separately. Thanks again for a great service. I would definitely use ACE again without a doubt should I ever find myself in the same predicament.

I was initially referred to ACE by the AA and admittedly, I was concerned by the reviews for ACE, especially as I had only checked them after I'd booked in.

I'm really happy with my experience with ACE. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone initially was very knowledgeable and understanding.
I was booked in for an appointment and within 1 week, Adrian came out to see me. He kept me updated on his arrival time and arrived promptly.

I left Adrian to do his checks and when he returned, he explained what checks he had done and what he'd found. He was able to back up the faults I'd experienced and managed to explain everything in a way that someone like myself (who is clueless about cars) was able to understand.

By the end of the week, my report was sent over. My report was thorough and everything he'd explained to me in person was backed up in the report. The report advised what recommendations they had for the car to be rectified and clearly stated their opinion on my complaint, which backed up all the concerns I had with the car.

I've had a shocking experience with my dealership, which involved a lot of bullying from management in an attempt to make me back down from dealing with my complaint. This left me very anxious about my appointment with ACE but from start to finish, everybody I dealt with was polite, respectful, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. After my dealership ordeal, it was truly a relief to put in touch with such a professional company.

I will not hesitate at all to recommend this company to anybody who has any issues with either their car or poor dealerships like I have done.

Had a bad experience with the car and was told to contact ACE by the finance company. Took a bit of time to come to me as they didn’t have anyone covering my side of London but the director went out of his way to come and check the car and saw all the faults with the car. Made a nice report for the finance company and hoping it goes my way now. Had a great experience and great convo with the director.

I don’t know if the report will go in my favour or not and to be honest I don’t overly mind. As the service was so good and Nigel gave me really clear information and looked at all the issues so thoroughly. He spent time and really looked as much as possible. He was a very nice guy and I trust that his report will be accurate. He was honest in his thoughts and what can be done. I feel that if I have to get the issues resolved myself at my cost then At least I have a clear direction on what to get fixed and what is important. Nigel is a great guy and an asset to your company. Call centre staff have also been brilliant and communication has been great. Overall very happy with the service.

Unfortunately I found myself caught up in a RTI back in 2022 which left me under attack and a fraudulent claim being set against Myself, I endured a 2 year Criminal Court case for the Judge to unanimously award the case in my favour and demanded that the third party give an explanantion to why this case was set against me. So after i had won my cae at the Criminal Courts, I beleived my car insurance Company would naturally follow suit and remove the claim held against me, to my horror, this did not happen and I then found myself dealing with a Civil matter, after contacting the Financial Ombudsman and filing a complaint against my Insurance Company, with all evidence supplied that was in my favour, I still found Myself at a road block, to my luck, a thought sparked that i should seek professional assistance by way of retrieving an expert report based on the Civil evidence provided realting to the fraudulent claim still held against us by my Insurers and CUE, I turned to ACE, which from the start, I felt comfortable, as I was gladly dealing with human beings and not human cyborgs, so there was a connection instantly and I knew these guys were upmost professional and with a thorough understanding of the whole picture and evidence to what is provided under their nose as opposed to operating like a repetive memory bank, There fees were very reasonable, we was kept in contact with when the report would be available, when the report was received, it was strangely like I had written the report Myself because I knew the truth of the incident and costs of damage and thankfully Mr M. Wright confirmed in totality what I had always known from the start, Graham, Sarah, Bobbi, Nicola - Thank you so much for your precious time, and another Thank You to Mr M. Wright, you get 5 star+, I highly recommend this Company for any Automotive Engineering Experties...

Rubbish company so many 1 star reviews explains the low standard of company
I am one of the 100s of victim of their false report made by one of their so called engineers I wonder how do they get job. Now director will
Reply the same as he’s replying others and disregard this review.take my honest advise hire some educated professionals who know how to diagnose a car properly not just fill out the paper report with rubbish information.
I won’t let this slide away I am compiling the full report so I can send it to trading standards.
