I went here today for a gait analysis and new running shoes, all the team are so helpful and knowledgeable. The analysis was brilliant, so informative and explains a few aches and pains I have been getting. After a few years off running I am now fully equipped with everything I need to get back on it. Thank you so much to everyone At alpha running in Lichfield for being so kind and helping me with the beginning of my journey!

I'm mid-way through Couch to 5k and seeing as I'm still alive.. needed some good professional advice and shoes for running.

I really recommend gait analysis at Alpha. It showed up so much that would have hindered me down the line.

Tina was excellent, listening to my history, assessing my running style and gave fab advice.

Came away with shoes suited to what I need that I wouldn't have picked otherwise ?

I went in for the gait analysis and didn't think much of it until I saw the before a after videos. I was recommended which shoes would best suit my gait. I ran the birmingham half marathon 2 days later with no pain at all, if your just starting off or an experienced runner, I definitely recommend you get it done. There is no obligation to buy trainers afterwards either, so I believe you can just pay £20 for the analysis alone.

You can see I'm the picture the before (left) my trainers and then the after (right) in the recommended trainers, so much difference!

I'm a new runner so went in for a gait analysis and my first proper running shoes. Gentleman who helped me was fantastic, really took the time to explain everything to me. Can't believe the difference even from my first run having the proper support has made. Would definitely recommend.

Had a thermal test done & had great advise off a lovely lady. Definitely going again. Love my new trail runners. Rang up with a pain in my foot wearing my new trainers went back & they looked at them again & exchanged them for another pair which are loads better.

I visited this shop with my partner who needed a gait analysis for her running shoes. The staff were very friendly and professional, and they explained the whole process clearly. They used a treadmill and a camera to record her running style, and then they showed us the results on a screen. They pointed out the areas of improvement and suggested the best shoes for her foot type and pronation. They also gave us some tips on how to improve her posture and reduce the risk of injury. We were very impressed by their service and expertise, and we ended up buying a pair of shoes that fit perfectly. My partner said she felt a huge difference in her comfort and performance after wearing them. We would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs a gait analysis or wants to buy quality running shoes.

Added bonus being that the shoes were very competitively priced and as we bought them the same day the gait analysis was free.

I would highly recommend Alpha Running for all your running needs. Absolutely brilliant service from all the team. I've always had a gait analysis before buying and every time the advice has been spot on: identifying the severity of pronation and then offering a choice of shoes to buy.
