A very rude woman served me. She had the most miserable look on her face. I don't think she wanted to be there. Terrible customer service. She actually asked me (very rudely) if I had an address label on my parcel! Of course I had an address label on it. Why would I be returning something without an address label Very rude woman with no customer service skills. The staff need to be replaced in there with people who actually want to be there and offer a great service, with a friendly smile!

I can vouch for hundreds of others - very poor service.
They have only one service counter, have to wait for half an hour the least for your turn.
I have visited a few time and every time there is always some issues with my postage/parcel and I have to return back without the service despite the half an hour wait for the turn - this only happens at this particular post office.
If you can avoid your trip, do so with pleasure.

Parking has become impossible outside over the past few months. I now park at Asda Orbital and walk but not everyone can. The queues can sometimes be frustrating but I've always found the staff helpful, patient and friendly.

In 19 months living in Abbey Meads, I've always been able to post my parcels with no problem. There is often a queue, as with all post offices, I lived in Oxford before, and there were always queues there too. Unfortunately there aren't enough post offices in the country so it's busy whichever one you turn up to. Abbey Meads PO does the job I need it to provide.

Approached the blonde middle aged female at 1135 on a Saturday to pick up a parcel. I was in a good mood, my item had been dropped off seamlessly. I approached the female with my confirmation email and she stated ' I've shut up and packed away'. Confused, as I'd checked that it was open til 1230, I was about to suggest that she was helpful, but she simply turned around and walked away.
Exasperated, I told her that her attitude was appalling and asked to speak to her manager. As I did this, she scoffed as if to say, speak to him if you want. The manager wasn't fussed and told me they were closing early due to staff shortages. I told him that was no good to me. He told me to come back Monday at 9, rather than to enquire as to what actual time the blonde middle aged woman finished her shift. He also told me if he helped me he would have to help the next person!!! That's your job, failed biker from a by gone age! I've detailed this with Tesco customer services for the area manager.

Dreadful. Raced to the post office at the first opportunity from work. Arrived 10 mins before closing time with 2 people in a que (including the one being served) told to go away as they cant possibly serve 3 people in 10 minutes.

How can this service even function like this?

This is by far the worst post office I've ever experienced. Long wait times, rude staff and if you're in a long queue and don't make it to the desk before closing time then you're out of luck. The staff should stop queues forming if they know it won't be possible to serve all customers before closing time rather than letting people queue up for ages only to be told "sorry. Too late".

If you can, I'd avoid this post office at all costs.

Worst post office I have ever used! The staff are so rude and god forbid you turn up shortly before closing time because they will literally close the shutter in your face even though they took ages to serve the customer in front, which means your turn tips over 17:30. Disgraceful customer service. I’ve avoided for a long time, due to poor service in the past, but thought I’d give them another chance…. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Happy Christmas!
