Received a toll fine for Mersey Gateay Bridge Southbound, from last year on the way to Creamfields festival, how no way to pay it when I got the the festival with so many people polling on the network in the same area, roll down to nearly 12 months down the line and I receive the first I’ve heard of it but a £62 fine!!! A year later mind

This borough council is just a robber. I had to cross the bridge in their territory and apparently there was a cost of £2.00 that i did not pay as I did not get any notice or demand for payment. you know how much bill they sent me that I had to pay was £382.00
its ridiculous.

No response to Emails! Sent in an email asking a question, automated reply saying that somebody would get back to me - they never did!! This happened 3 times over a 2 week period. Very poor service from, I guess, ignorant staff!! In fact is there anybody alive there?

They need to publicize sound report from.creamfields to prove it wasn't illegal. How is it people 10 more miles away could hear it. And underage teens getting in.

If this councils aim is to deter people from supporting businesses in the area then they are certainly succeeding. 5 toll Bridge penalty notices in a matter of days. According to these notices there is an app I can download to take autopayment. Why is this not advertised in the actual crossing. When I appealed and informed them I had missed the deadline because 24hrs is a completely unreasonable amount of time to expect someone to remember. I knew nothing about the app but have now downloaded it so won't happen again. They were not interested. That's fine. I won't visit the area again. Not interested in lining the pockets of this council of that's how they operate

And absolute disgrace of a council in particular in regards to council tax department. I am being hounded to pay the council tax on a property which is currently going through probate. I have stated once the house sells all the debts will be paid off. What the hell am I ment to do. You are terrible. Furthermore you owe my nans estate a tax rebate which would cover most of what is owned. Be careful everyone. This council has no care. It's an absolute utter disgrace.

I took my kids to visit Catalyst so had to cross the bridge twice. I attempted to pay several times when I got home but the site kept crashing. Tried on my laptop and I got the same. I intended to try again in the morning but clearly forgot. This was back in September. Its now November and I've just received 2 letters demanding £62 each (£124 total). It says that they've already written to me twice, but this is honestly the first letter I've had. Tried to speak to someone about it but it's not possible. Needless to say I won't be using the bridge again, and I won't be visiting catalyst again. Daylight robbery.
