We stayed a night in the Troll Cart (Weatherspoons) and a night in the Nelson Hotel. Both were lovely hotels. It's a little quieter as it's out of season, so was perfect for a stroll around the town and the beach. The town was lovely and clean.

Quite the expansive beach with powder soft sand and thunderous crashing waves that would be ideal for a hot Summer day. The amusement arcade nearby hosts plenty of games and rides for the whole family to enjoy, as well as eateries that won't break the bank. But it's the beach itself which is the highlight as you can immerse yourself in the ambience of the sea and the sensorial delight that comes from such an experience is second to none. With family or just yourself, this is a great place to come.

I like this beach. One of the best place to go with kids on this coast. Even if I got closer to other beaches I prefer to go here. Nice sand and facilities. Toilets and shops are close.

Been coming here for over 20yrs. It has to be my favourite place to come. The beach is lovely. Loads of places along the sea front to do. The town is walking distance via 'The Strip' with loads of souvenirs etc. There's The Arc Cinema at the bottom end of the sea front. You can catch the road train or ride in a horse and cart. There is a little model village, a leisure centre, crazy golf and much more. Plenty of eateries along the sea front as well as Harry Ramsdens, for amazing fish and chips.

Highly recommend

Great beach, nice and clean, Wellington Pier is great for arcades.
Also alot of arcades all along the road.
We found it cheaper parking outside the amusements rather than the marina car park which is so expensive!
