Driver of BV21 LSK driving without due care and attention, also being verbally abusive to members of the public. Hope that the company deal with this appalling individual, doesn't paint the company in a good light.

PRM Tech are easy to deal with although I think their online booking form could be more user friendly so I normally send in my own itemised spread sheet. Their form is great if only sending a small amount of items. The driver was very polite & accommodating.

Not the service I've been used to in the past. The collection was fine but the booking part was pretty poor. I was contacted by 2 different people to ask if we had need of a collection, replied to 1 to say yes, got a reply from a different person asking what parts needed collecting, replies to advise and had no response despite chasing. I then booked online and when the confirmation came through it had missed half then items I'd entered. I again emailed to reclarify and again had no response. I probably should have phoned and spoke to someone but I'll do that if I have any issues the next time.

Have used this company several times over the years and their drivers are polite, courteous, helpful and the entire process could not be smoother. We did actually contact another company after initially losing these guys' details and they were a total shambles!

Can't recommend them enough, will definitely use again 🙂

I run a small IT Services firm for schools. Initially found PRM Green Technologies excellent, impressed by the service and reliability. Follow-up was okay, although the receipt for equipment was not complete and not all hard disks in PCs and laptops that were taken away were included. This meant I was unable to forward info required to my clients, who as schools, are understandably tetchy about data protection at the moment!

I understand mistakes happen and it’s not the mistake that’s important, it’s how you deal with it. Hence my 3 star review, I emailed them explaining the above (also stating that - my mistake - a server had erroneously been removed from site and customer needed it back, not urgent but they had plans to re-commission it as a backup server). I simply did not get a response about these two issues.

It seems unfair to leave a 1 star negative review especially as it’s possible this email was missed and I haven’t yet chased up. But... I do think it’s unlikely that would be the case.

Will happily change this review later if this gets resolved.

We have used PRM Green Technologies for years and every time they give great service. Always provides us with a data destruction certificate for our hard drives. They collect when they say they are going to collect and always let us know when there is a van in our area. Cant recommend highly enough.

We have used PRM for all of our IT disposal needs for several years now. They have always provided a fantastic service and have been extremely accommodating when it comes to our last minute requests. Even during the beginning of the covid pandemic they came to our officeswith minimal notice, to clear out a building we needed to urgently vacate in central London. They are always punctual and helpful. Cant recommend highly enough.

Well.... I received an email from PRM asking me to review their service on Google, so here goes. I believe I've been as fair as possible.

In July we booked a collection for a large amount of IT equipment to take place at the end of the August summer break. The collection was confirmed a couple of days later by PRM. So far so good. A few weeks later, I sent PRM some pictures of the kit that they would be collecting so that they could ensure a large enough van was sent. There were approximately 50 PCs and LCD screens, 20 projectors, various network switches and routers, a couple of old servers, etc. I didn't receive any reply to this email and so I presumed all was ok.

The day before the agreed collection date we moved all of the equipment into the school's reception area so that it was ready to be loaded onto the PRM van. This took a number of us a couple of hours due to the amount of equipment involved. By 10:30 nobody had turned up and so I called PRM to confirm that the driver was on his way. I was told that an earlier collection had been larger than anticipated and so the driver had to first go back to the depot to unload the lorry. I was reassured that someone would be turning up by 'early afternoon'. At 1:30 I received an email from PRM saying that the driver could not make it to site by 4pm due to local road closures. I checked the route on Google Maps and Waze and it showed no problem with getting from PRM's offices to the school. I replied to the email asking if the site were to stay open until 6pm if that would enable them to collect. I received no reply.

The following day I emailed PRM at 8am asking what the plan was and stressed to them that a collection was still necessary. I received no reply and so early afternoon I tried to call the office number. I had been dealing with Charlotte from the beginning and when I asked for her I was told that she was at lunch. The person I spoke to took my details and said that Charlotte would call me back. I had no return phone call or email, which left the school in a very difficult situation. With one day left until the start of term, the reception area was absolutely full of old equipment that we needed to get rid of and represented a serious health and safety issue. The silent treatment continued and so numerous staff had to be roped in to help move all of the equipment back to where it came from, wasting further hours of time. We then started to look into alternative waste collection agencies with a view to booking a collection over the October half term.

The icing on the cake in the PRM story is that without any warning whatsoever and after failing to return any of our phone calls or emails, on 15 September a PRM man and van suddenly turned up at the school to collect the equipment. This was right at the beginning of term and caused the office and caretaking staff a great deal of additional unnecessary stress. To his credit, the actual driver was courteous and helpful and understood why the school were extremely displeased with the company he worked for.

Needless to say we will not be choosing to use PRM again within our Multi Academy Trust of eight schools. A shame, because we've used them for years, but this absolute lack of any customer service was enough to make us look elsewhere.
