Took my iPad in on Monday, the charger had broke off in the port. They, had it fixed in an hour, told me the price before I left. Very happy with service.

Yesterday I came to this store, I brought my laptop and told them the issue. I was getting a blue screen (the one that wants to update the computer) but my main issue was that I wanted to do a factory reset and it wasnt letting me do it, the reason is because it wouldnt let me update windows or chrome. They said it was £60 to do it. They talked about weather i could be the hard drive. I knew it wasnt but said sure it could be the hard drive, but if its not and it just the update then great. They said if the update doesnt work then it was the hard drive and then that would cost more etc (they wernt going to open it up for my harddrive if the update from microsoft worked).

Today they called me and told me that it would take two hours to fix via the update, so no problem. They then said 'oh we opened up your laptop and we saw that your drive was old and how I needed an upgrade if I wanted it to run faster) it would cost £80 for the lowest HD adding only 20G. So I went down there to collect my laptop, and the assistant casually said oh your charger doesnt work properly, when I take it away from the laptop, the lapto switches off...

So I asked, so why did you guys open up my laptop? They told me oh to see how old it was... I then told them I didnt give permission for that and I will never know if them opening up my laptop had anything to do with my charger not working with my laptop. To me the issue isnt the charger, the laptop is fully charged, it switches off now when the charger isnt attached. The main man asked why I was behaving like that, for simply asking him why they did that and explaining it's my property and he needed to ask permission. There was no screaming, no souting, not even raised voices. He simply didnt like me calling him out for his conduct with my laptop and charged me £60 for my troubles.

Do you see what I am getting at here? It really does seem like they opened up my laptop to route around and now theres a new issue that wasnt there only a month ago! It felt like a shake down because I didnt agree to replacing my harddrive on the phone. Obviously if there was a new issue with my laptop as big as that why didnt they tell me on the phone when they called me?

It's more than likely that while they fiddled around inside my laptop without my permission, they likely short circuited my laptop battery, and now I have to figure out what I will have to do about that.

What I will say is, if you're a women do not go there without a man or send a man in your stead because it felt like I was a woman at a michanics place.

All I got was a factory reset which is what I wanted software that I could reinstall myself (which he was shocked I could do btw) and a laptop that cant stay on without the charger now and for a cool £60.

And they instead of getting a repeat customer, have a very honest Google review...

If you want your gaming desktop fixed or to run like new this is the place to go excellent customer service next day my pc was like new had a previous bad experience with another pc repair buisness and technology repairs were able to undo an fix everything. Very pleased with this service clear communication an i love the no fix no fee service reasonable prices too. This guy knows his stuff don't waste your time with currys or other places come technology repairs.

Amazing service, my macbook screen was damaged and they went to a lot of trouble sourcing a new one. As soon as it came they repaired it and the price was very reasonable compared to what other places were offering. Great service and communication was awesome
