Excellent service. I was given an appointment slot of between 9 and 12 and at 11.10 I received a call from the engineer Owen to advise me he was on his way. Very polite and presentable Owen got straight to work and at the end explained everything he had done in detail and asked to make sure I was totally happy with everything. Thank you for the maintenance visit. You were on-time , very helpful and efficient! The one problem I had was the right hand arm, which was fixed with no problem at all I guess!
The one thing I would like to have fixed was the speed that it moves BUT I understand that is a controlled speed and cannot be increased which, I guess is a safety issue! Oherwise I am very happy with the product and more than happy with the service that was carried out!! Thank you!

Poor. Had a service booked that was completed around 2pm. Within two hours and in first use of stairlift it would not move. Called stannah, within around an hour new engineer attended, took around 90mins to fix. Still believe that there is too much of a gap on foot plate however advised by Area manager its within tolerance.

Engineer turned up without making an appointment with me. I already informed Stannah last year to arrange appointments through me but they have never changed the telephone number. My mother suffers from dementia and does not have capacity.

Mike arrived exactly at the time agreed, very professional and the first serhvic3 was completed within the hour. We look forward to seeing him next year for the second service.

Although I had identified what the problem was the mechanic did not have the necessary spare parts with him. He has to go away and order and make a return visit. What a waste it time.
