We have a carer coming every morning to our Mum. She lives on her own in a remote location. We are very happy with the service and she has built up a good rapport with her regular carer. I found Bluebird particularly lacking in terms of compassion and frankly decency when it comes to dealing with relatives of deceased. After over four and a half years of receiving 'care', my father-in-law was sadly admitted into hospital for end-of-life care in 2019. Despite telling Bluebird of the circumstances, they continued to send bills for care not received quoting 28 days termination notice. Having written to the Director of the company, no response was received, and I assumed it had been resolved. Nearly 4 years later out of the blue we received letters demanding payments and threatening legal proceedings. Reading other reviews, the 28 days’ notice seems to be a recurring theme. A very ‘sharp’ firm to deal with when it comes to money, and the care had to be managed carefully to ensure it was being received.
