My mum is in this care home and the staff there are lovely very caring and go above and beyond for the residents that are there. They make you feel so welcome and look after us has a family when we go see mum. The manager is very friendly and easy to talk to and is always there to talk to if you need her so glad my mum is looked after here. Thank you to all staff at Holly park

The staff are lovely but the place isn’t very nice. It’s scruffy, run down and is in need of a good clean. It smells like a giraffe enclosure. There is urine in chairs and on the floors and there’s nothing for the residents to do. Only saw the food a couple of times but that was enough.
I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I’m so grateful my mum was only there for respite.
The one star is only as I couldn’t give any less. But this is no reflection on the staff who were doing a brilliant job. I feel for them in this working environment.

Could not fault the care team here, such lovely staff and you can really see the bond and dedication they make for the residents here. Was made to feel welcomed from the minute i came in. 10/10

Well so far so good, my mum has dementia and dove court,where she lived,have no knowledge of dementia,so my mum moved here on temp basis, assessment bed, they deal with dementia and have activities, I call my mum a lot,she has a dementia phone,so it’s easy for my brother and I to contact her and keep her safe, but my mum seems ok there, so fingers crossed 🤞well guess what,I was wrong,this place is horrible,the staff are ignorant, my mum was scared to go to bed, the ceiling above her bed was crumbling and leaked water,the chef walked out last week, so the actual staff are now doing the cooking, and as for the so called activities,what flaming activities? They were none, my mum was board on a daily basis,my mum called it a st hole, my brother provided her bedding, laundry basket and a bin for her personal hygiene, the floors were sticky, our feet stuck to them,they kept insisting on putting other residents clothes on my mum (even men’s jumpers) even though I told them I did my mums laundry, I’ve never known a care home like it, the daily arguments my family and I had with the staff about my mum was unbelievable, but luckily my mum left here today,15/10/24’and she’s gone to a much better care home, she was only been here for 4 weeks and 4 days and she hated it, I’ve not seen my mum happy and content as she was today when she was leaving this place, every time I visited her she kept saying she wanted to get out of the st hole, well now she has, and I’m very proud of my mum,she’s been through a lot,

Been to seen my aunty, the place isn't good,my aunty is crying she hates the place, rooms are shabby and disgusting. A one star is enough, wouldn't recommend this place its awful

If your looking for a excellent home to place loved ones, Lovely home ..excellent staff and care ..made sure my grandad was well cared for and happy all of the time .
