Trevor who came to look round was really friendly and helpful, and seemed like a builder whose advice I’d really trust.

Trevor was due to come and look on 2nd Feb, and as others have reported here, after waiting at home I called them up to find Mel had forgotten to tell him, so she booked it in for the following week on 9th. As mentioned, he was great and offered lots of suggestions. I waited for a quote.

A week later I called Mel to ask for a time estimate and was told they were a builder down, and I would have a quote by next Friday. There was also a miscommunication about the timeline for work that Mel denied (I’d believe she hadn’t agreed it could be done in two months if she hadn’t also forgotten to book the appointment), this was annoying but I thought Trevor was good so waited.

That was three and a half weeks ago. I called up today and was told the job had been cancelled, apparently she’d tried to call once last week (I had no missed calls from their number and she didn’t try again). 30th Jan first contact, 12th March find out job was cancelled. I imagine the work would be good if it happened but do check on the day they are meant to come that they are coming, and ask to speak to Trevor not Mel.

Was in contact with them for many weeks to arrange obtaining a quote to replace some roofing.

On two separate occassions they cancelled on the morning of the booking, only an hour prior to the appointment. That's twice I sat in, waiting, only to be contacted with a cancelled appointment.

On the second occasion I was told I'd be best off finding another company due to their long delays they have.

Very let down by a company I held high hopes for, considering I found them on the councils trusted traders website.

We are now 2 months after CPS added a beautiful extension to our 4 bed, giving us a flat roof with lanterns and 6 meters of bifolds! We love our new living room! We also had massive internal renovations with old rooms and a new patio. The attention to details and finish is picture ready, throughout the whole build. Really respectful and skill team! Thank you all! This is my 4th time using CPS!

I think we’re all guilty of being quick to criticise poor service/workmanship etc, but I genuinely believe we should all be promoting local companies more, especially when they work as hard and effectively as County Property Services has on our property.

Boy, did these guys deliver…

Safe to say that we have had a lot of work done on the house over the past few months.

We waited over a month for a quote (surveyed in September) and chased twice (as they said they would get back to us in a week)just to receive a rather poorly worded email today saying they have decided not to provide one.

Estate agents asked them to fix my boiler, 5 visits later and if anything it's worse, engineer was supposed to come back again and never showed, contacted office more than once to be told they couldnt reach the engineer! Very poor service
