My 2016 Vito Campervan engine management light was on and I was obliged to use a garage in Misterton as part of my warranty. Over 18 months, countless visits and over £1500 spent on it did not fix the problem with the engine light coming back on after about 50 miles, worse still was getting to speak to someone there as they gradually ran out of ideas. So I went to Van Care, it was a complete contrast. I made around 4 visits over 2 months and they finally solved the problem. Not once did Van Care run out of ideas, not once did they think it would beat them, not once did they fail to answer my call or fail to ring me when they said they would. I was in constant dialogue with Rob and Ryan on possible causes and lines of investigation which gave me confidence and made me feel involved. It's an old saying, but true, what these guys don't know about vans really isn't worth knowing. What also impressed me about Van Care was that I would ring up occasionally and Elliot would answer and he also knew exactly what was going on with my van. This is a very joined up team. It's now 1800 miles later, I'm on the Costa Brava with my engine light still off and I can't speak highly enough of this company. Their customer care wipes the floor with the Mercedes main dealer, they are knowledgeable, fairly priced and I highly recommend them. I doubt you'll find many more garages with a 4.9 score on google. Well deserved guys!

The team at VanCare are super - we've used them over the past year for our Peugeot Boxer camper van, and they've been v kind in finding time to help with issues at short notice when needed, as well as great care for MOT and standard maintenance. Thank you!

Have been using Van Care Pudsey Leeds for a while and always found them very knowledgeable and professional ,specially regarding Sprinter vans.Previous garages i have used have not delivered the service that you expect and although talk the talk ,didnt resolve the issue.Yesterday i took my Sprinter in with an intermittent fault. They thoroughly tested , diagnosed and found it to be a wiring fault , they explained the best way of rectifying this ,repaired it very satisfactory.I was kept informed during the time i waited and when all repaired and road tested was handed the invoice ,this was explained clearly as to exactly what work had been completed and the amount of time including the diagnostic testing. I even had a courtesy call later in the day to ask if all was to my satisfaction.Well done to all team who helped find this ,especially Ryan & Rob who went the extra mile .
Thanks Mark Dunn

Always take my campervan here. Very helpful and honest service. They keep me informed and give me options if work needs doing. I recently needed a mot doing for the next day (as I’d forgotten the expiry date and was going away in a couple of days), they helpfully booked me in the next day which was a real life saver. Would highly recommend.

We were recommended to use VanCare and were not disappointed. Today I travelled by train from Nottingham to collect our Mercedes Sprinter. A warm welcome from all members of staff that passed through reception, thank you. The works completed had been fully communicated during the workshop process with my TM, but today they took the time to explain to me what works had been done, in both technical and female terms. I was treated with respect and integrity at all times which sometimes is forgotten in the white van world. Driving the van back it drove like new, they'd picked up a few issues along the way. Was it worth the train journeys to and fro. Definitely. Thank you and to the office ladies off on the hen weekend. York beware...have fun!

APPROACH WITH CAUTION!
So, this was my experience of Vancare. I'll leave you to make your own judgment.
I had a problem with one of my sensors that another garage could not fix. They recommended I take it to VanCare. I did not want to as I my previous experience of them was questionable. But they said they'd take it and it would be dealt with.
After dropping off my van the owner, Wayne, asked me a few questions about my van, which included 'Do I have a tracker' which I thought was strange. I told him whatever the issue to NOT fix it until he'd told me how much it would cost.
He replaced the sensor, the van came out of limp mode and he called me to say I could collect in the morning.
Just before I set off the following day, he called me to say he'd taken the van out for another run and the problem returned. He advised I left it with him and he'd look into it.
Then he called me to say he'd fixed it.
When I collected the van, the original bill of £400+ was increased by an additional £860 as he had to replace the main sensor rail across the engine. But he claimed he'd done me a favour by using a second hand part! I said i'd asked him to call me before any work was done, and all he could say was that I told him to fix my van. We argues about this for a while and he claimed he'd done me a favour while becoming more aggressive.
I ended up paying but afterwards I wish I had not.
Why did he leave it until the last minute before he claims he took it for 'one last run' and why did he ask me if I had a tracker. If I did or not this would not have affected the fuel temperature sensor, which he claimed it would.
Make of this what you will.
But my friend also had the same issue with him doing work without permission that came with a very large bill.
I'm not accusing him of wrong doing, just telling my story, but the way he went around it was not the way we agreed and was completely unprofessional.
So, I would approach this garage with caution.
