What a fantastic service.
From start to finish and couldn't ask for a better firm. Was always kept updated with progress of how everything was going.
The team has such perfect knowledge of every trade going.
We had cement cladding and it's absolutely stunning. Not a piece out of place and completely maintenance free.
We also had replaced our decking with much larger size with block base to take the weight of a hottub.
Decking with a wooden gazebo and the workmanship and level of detail is second to none. The team that carried out all the work was spot on and was easy to approach and ask any questions or have a chat to. So professional and always cleaned up everything at end of each day.
Tbh couldn't ask for better.
The owner Ken is great and always on the end of the phone if needed and does come to see the progress and always ask us if we are happy.

Ken came and quoted very quickly. Said the work would be completed within two weeks of scaffolding going up. Job didn't go to plan and gable end was left with gaps between the ridge and the tiles big enough to slide your hand under. I was first told by the roofers that this was normal. Stood my ground and was told that someone would come to sort it it out. Two months later still waiting for someone to take an interest and finish the job. Scaffolding is still here and today found my 6 year old son on the roof. That's not KM's fault but it would not have happened had the job been finished in the time frames agreed upon. Basically they are a good, reliable company but I get the feeling that they have taken on too much work and as a result this customer has been let down.

Update to this. Ken came around first thing this morning. He was hugely apologetic and made sure the job was finished to his own high standards. Excellent customer service and the work is very good.

Bottom line would I use this company again? Absolutely. Ken is a builder whom you can trust and rely upon - a rare find.

Ken arrived and quoted very quickly. What's more, the company stuck to their quote. Very efficient and quickly replaced a roof removing 16 solar panels and replacing. This included building control etc.
The guys were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Very hard workers!
I would have no hesitation in recommending. Good communication throughout the job.

Very good customer service.
This started straight away, with a quick response to our phone enquiry and Ken's visit to view the wet chimney and estimate the job of locating and rectifying the problem.
The work was planned and completed on time. Scaffolding was left in place until heavy rain over a few weeks, in order to prove that the repair was effective. Ken returned to satisfy himself that this was so.
Everything was left clean and tidy.
Paying the invoice was also easily done.
I'm happy to recommend Ken.

We have used KM Building & Roofing to have our ridge tiles replaced and on another occasion the guttering and facias replaced. On both occasions they did a brilliant job. Really good teams who worked hard and completed the work to a very high standard. Great updates on progress on expected completion dates. They cleaned up afterwards and made sure we were completely happy with everything before leaving.
Highly recommended and would be our first call whenever we need any roofing or building work completed.
