Fantastic weekend in Skoolie Stays. Perfect peaceful get away with the right mix of amenities and nature. The bus is amazing, we loved all the personal touches and nods to Guy and Ruth’s travels. The bed was very comfortable, the blinds keep out the light and it is a very quiet area so sleep was easy. The kitchen has everything you need to knock up easy dinners and store food/drinks for your stay.
We loved sitting outside in the sunshine and chilling in the bus when it got dark. We visited Kinsbrook (a local vineyard) and took the bridle path (15-20 min walk) to The White Lion, can highly recommend both.
There are loads of great walks locally and places to visit.
Guy and Ruth shared lots of info and were easily reachable from the moment we book and throughout our stay.
If you are thinking about a trip, stop fantasizing and book now. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Just returned from 3 nights away in the idyllic Sussex countryside staying in the magical Skoolie stay bus! Guy and Ruth were amazing, attentive hosts.

The bus is extremely well thought out with lovely details to take in..

Having such a large open space to ourselves was a real treat and the kids loved cooking marshmallows on the fire every night.

A lovely place to stay if you want to go off grid and unwind!

Such a beautiful location, within walking distance to the local pub and surrounded by woodland. Everything inside of the bus was so well thought out, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed and more. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to be.

Absolutely incredible 2 night stay at the skoolie stays bus!!!!

I took my other half and our two daughters there as a surprise for my other halfs birthday, and wow was it an experience.
Everything was just perfect, from the views and privacy all around to the details in the bus. The beds were very comfy and having the bunk beds were brilliant. The kids loved it!
Having a fire pit was a win as well. It was just so relaxing hearing nature all around us whilst we got to chill and make memories as a family.

Guy and Ruth were so thorough with keeping me up to date before our stay and are just such lovely people.

Once again, thank you for the wonderful stay and experience.

We took our bus-obsessed toddler and his big sister to Skoolie for a birthday trip and he had an amazing time, as did we! The bus is designed and decorated so playfully and with brilliant details. The beds are comfy, and the location is. lovely. We enjoyed our walk to Thakeham and pub lunch there, and it was a great base for exploring Arundel and Amberley by car. Skoolie is one-of-a-kind and I highly recommend for families or couples wanting a quirky getaway.

We had an amazing 3 night break on the bus.
We loved every minute of our stay.
The location was perfect, privacy, scenery, nature all around, we even saw some baby deer.

Every little thoughtful detail was really appreciated. Everything we thought ooh that would be nice, it was there. From wine stoppers, to local info printed out, from scrabble, to binoculars. Everything was so well thought out. The decor was brilliant too.

I would highly recommend Skoolie stays to anyone looking for a weekend off grid. Whether it’s to rest and recharge or going on hikes and exploring. We did both and had a fab time. The high quality of everything used in the accommodation along with its unique appeal just made it extra special.

Had a great stay at the Skoolie Stays bus a few weeks ago. Had an issue on arrival but Guy did not hesitate in coming out to fix. Great, friendly service who were on hand if needed (even when a dog attached himself to us...)

I would describe this as a higher end of 'glamping'; the bus really has been renovated to a great standard.

If you're looking for a few days to get away from it all but still indulge in comfort, this is a great option!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. The bus itself is incredible, every detail is so well thought out - it has everything you could need and more for a luxury glamping experience. The info book was also super useful for shortcuts to the village and recommendations for local outings.

The only slight negative was that other campers pitched their tents very close to the bus so our privacy was somewhat less than expected, also other campers were walking literally feet away from the bus itself using the footpath to get to their pitches.

Wouldn't stop us returning though, our young boys absolutely loved it and it will forever be a lovely memorable holiday.
