This is the second time I have used their services. The first time, my home computer was faulty, the service I received was better than excellent. I thought I was just lucky and held my praise then. However, this second time around the service provided was even better. So I decided to put in a review. This kind of service in this day and age is scare. Q-Teks professionalism, product knowledge, service standards and friendliness are second to none not to mention their excellent time factor. Thank you Mark, I can't wait to use you guys again. Oh...Lest I forget, Q-Tek can also resolve diagnose and resolve issues remotely by linking into your computer for a small fee which is completely safe and secure.

It is rare in my opinion these days to find a Company that is prepared to "help" you when you have a problem that most others would just say" it's not worth repairing" or it's just too small a job and not worth their while!

Well at Q-Tek Systems in Old Town Stevenage are in a different class altogether and I wish to personally thank the owner Marc for offering to repair my iPad Alesis iDock studio housing unit which developed a fault with the power adapter input which was cutting out due to the component on the pcb board had become loose and was making and breaking contact causing the iPad to disconnect from the sound system whilst performing at live gigs which is to say the least very embarrising and scarry!!!!

I wanted to illiminate the power connection on the board and replace it with a fly lead instead so no stress was put on the board by plugging it in and out after every event which caused the issue in the first place.

These components are not really robust enough for this type of use and once plugged in should really be left and not put to constant use.

I took it to Q-Tek who I had not used previously and showed Marc the issue and he immediately without any reservations said "We can fix that for you not a problem" and suggested a couple of options that would solve the fault.

He quoted me a cost of £30.00 and said it would ready the next day.

I couldn't believe it, that here was a local Company which was honest, fair, not greedy and prepared to put themselves out just to help me and not try to take advantage of the situation not being quite the standard type of repair or service procedure normally undertaken.

I can't thank you enough Q-Tek for what you did and it goes to show there are still honest and dedicated fair family businesses out there ready to help.

It was done at the agreed cost and on time - what more can you ask?

If you have a problem I can highly recommend Q-Tek Stevenage as a first class top rate organisation and can't thank them enough.

Mark and the team are always super helpful and knowledgeable, I've used them for 2 upgrades recently that turned out to be much harder than expected and took a bit longer but they didn't charge more than their original quote even tho they had spent more time working on it than anticipated. When I was unable to collect my PC they even offered to drop it back since I lived locally - that's real customer service;!!
