We asked Luke to reduce and remove the dead wood from a large Ash Tree and Conifer Tree in our garden as well as reduce a 10ft high 100ft long hedge which borders our garden. I was happy with the price he quoted so Luke and his team carried out the work last week. I didn't know what to expect, never having had this sort of work carried out before. I can only say that I couldn't have been happier! All the guys were friendly, helpful and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they checked that we were happy with the work as they went along. The Ash Tree is very large and it took Luke about 6 hours to complete the work. During this time his team were constantly removing the cut branches, logging the dead ones for me and chipping the green wood. When they left everything was tidy, there was nothing left behind and the garden and drive looked great. With regard to the work itself we are very pleased with the outcome; the trees and hedge look much better and the garden has far more light than before. Luke came to our property to look at some forsythia bushes that had become too big for us to manage and a fir tree that needed cutting and shaping. On arrival we found Luke to be extremely polite l, friendly and knowledge. We had a good chat about our options and he gave us an extremely competitive quote. He and his team completed the work diligently and in a professional manner. They were extremely tidy and mindful of not only cleaning our garden up but also the surrounding neighbours which we appreciated. Luke came around. First time i met him he was courteous polite and came across as a good person with a passion for his trade. This means a lot to me. Good start. He had a look at the work and gave a Competitive price. He was busy for 3 weeks which is also a good sign as he's in demand. Him and his team 4 in total came and cut a tree down in a professional safe manner and I was very happy as they went the extra mile for me and did a good tidy up after. Luke Jennings Tree Surgery is competitive on price, in fact 50% less than some of the big guys in Enfield, but more importantly from my perspective, when he came around to quote he started out by saying how lovely our tree was and how he'd trim it back sympathetically - exactly what I wanted to hear. Dealing with him was nothing but a pleasure and I'm really pleased to have supported his small, burgeoning business. He and his guys are friendly, they did a great job very efficiently and cleared up every trace of the tree they'd cut back. Forget the big guys in Enfield who'll try to persuade you to cut down your large trees, and instead work with Luke!

Had a large overgrown prunus tree easily 24’ High infested with ivy, roses and a wisteria which dominated ours and neighbours gardens. I was recommended to try Luke Jennings Tree Surgery. They came round gave a really competitive quote and 3 days later duly turned up and removed everything cleanly, swiftly and efficiently. It wasn’t a simple task but they made quick work shredding and then grinding the stump out. After 3 hours the job was done and you wouldn’t know that both a tree and they had ever been there.

Luke Jennings Tree Surgery Ltd reduced and shaped 16 Lime trees in our High Street Standon Churchyard located in a conservation area during January 2023. Luke assisted our church wardens with the tree works application for authority from both the East Herts Council and the Diocese of St Albans. The tree work involved trees to prune by 50% leaving growth points and 20% epicormic growth. Work was completed satisfactory within 4 days and the site left clean and tidy all arising removed chipped and recycled.
