Absolutely horrendous school. If you want your children to fail that's the place to send them to. Quality of education is so poor my previously extremely smart daughters became just average. Son failed exams because for the most of the time he spent in that school he had substitute teachers that had no clue what they are teaching. My other son (now in special school and thriving) declined so badly that he could not do 15 minutes at school some days ( he's been full day all the time with no issues in his new school). In a year and a half my son not only not learned anything but declined to the point of where he could no longer speak properly. All my suggestions of how to approach him were dismissed and I myself could not manage his behaviour eventually. The school advertising as having special needs provision but they don't. Now two of my boys are in different schools and doing great. Unfortunately the time spent in NIA is like a bad dream for them. I'm trying to get my daughter out but it's hard as other schools have no places. Primary teachers seems to be on a power trip (says a lot about the people that suppose to be educated). There is no safe infrastructure for drop off/pick up times. They have no play areas or green zones. Pupils are literally like zoo animals in a cage and treated as such quite often. Management is awful. Communication is even worse. My daughter is not happy. I'm not happy and I'm already looking for a tutor for her as it doesn't seem to be likely that she will do well in her sats with this sort of approach to education. Please please don't send your children there if you love them. They will not be happy there.

This place is terrible
The teachers here don’t get trained well
My mum pays for my piano lessons which cost like upwards of £ 500+ and the teachers don’t let me go to the lessons saying “Oh your going to miss your lesson so that will be a C4 for truanting” Seriously why not educate your teachers that these piano lessons cost a-lot of money. If you want to be a school start teaching your teachers how to properly do lesson interventions

IMMORTALITY

there are SO many stupid things that this school does that does NOT help with student education AT ALL
im in year 9, soon going to 10.
i had a very bad experience with this school regarding bullying, mental health, and education in general. teachers ask you questions you've never learnt, they don't even apply half of their own rules to students (such as no dyed hair), they barely do anything about bullying and mental health as many of my friends said the teachers have been pretty bad towards them about it, education is misleading, confusing, and help is barely provided by a lot of teachers.
students are also pretty immature and are clearly not dealt with since they act out against the school rules and teachers.
as a student, please don't send your child here. not worth it if you want them to struggle, be mislead, possibly bullied and left unhelped, etc. this is a warning

Hi Hello
1/5

I have been going to this school for over a year and it is HORRIBLE if I could give it a 1star I would . I could not count the amount of times I have nearly had a mental breakdown they treat students like a piece in a board game, if you struggle in that school they will just leave you behind to struggle. The only help they offer you is an interventions and they do nothing to your learning . Most of the time the learning is complicated and doesn’t make sense. some questions on the tests don’t make sense and are too complicated , there is not a correct answer for it. And staff are extremely rude they are also super strict about the toilets because the teacher will have to email someone to come and escort you to them and 99% of the time they never show up. I mean the staff treat you like robots that

I really hope this makes sense

People definitely exaggerate how bad the school is due to the self fulfilling prophecy however from my experience as a student who has been at this school for a full 5 years teachers are not as bad as everyone says they are there were a few bad experiences I have had as a “good” student but overall half of the teachers do know what they’re doing and are good at their job making sure every single pupil in the classroom understands what is being taught and punish behaviour fairly some of the good teachers left though because they deserve much better therefore I do believe it is the students behaviour that makes the school look bad mistreating the teachers the experiences I have had with some students are just traumatic because they are genuinely so rude for absolutely no reason and give teachers attitude when they are just trying to do their job however there is teachers that are absolutely clueless on the subject they are teaching but I know this is in every school anyway since the school has had a title of being “the worst in the town” it is most likely that this reputation will stick to them forever even though the school isn’t all that bad all the maths teacher slay though love them same with history and Spanish idk about the rest though science has definitely gone down hill rip miss kocisova though
