Excellent service, my sons laptop would not connect to his university blackboard. The guys tried it in the shop and it worked, but would not work at home. So they remote linked in and solved the problems quickly. All I can say is thanks a lot as it now means he can do his pre-Xmas revision.

I went into the Matlock shop and, after receiving a poor service, I wrote a negative review. Within an hour of posting the review, I was rung back with an apology and explanation. I was offered a new appointment with Pete the manager. Pete was very helpful and knowledgeable so I will definitely be using this shop again if I need to.

Last week I was in the UK (over from Ireland) spending a week's holiday in a cottage in Tansley (just outside Matlock). I had brought my old printer over to finish off some work and as luck would have it towards the end of the week it ran out of ink and I had no spare cartridges!
Anyway, I popped into the 'Real Computer Shop' in Matlock expecting to be told they couldn't get cartridges and then attempt to sell me a new printer!
How wrong I was, the two fellas (sorry I don't know their names!) coudn't have been more helpful. Long story short - although they didn't have the cartridges I needed in stock, they managed to get them in for the following day at a very reasonable price and when I went to collect them, I had a really nice chat with one of them about Ireland, the North-East of England and music.
So in summary, I received excellent service and I would strongly recommend this company.
This is the sort of small business we all need to be supporting!

Took my laptop in expecting them to have to keep it to work on and was solved in 10 mins with a £10 dongle. Second time have used and just really simple and reasonable. Intend to but new laptop from there as soon as needed

This place is a rarity; a centre of town shop that is welcoming, honest and technically brilliant. My son needed some ram sticks for his first build so just went down to pick them up.

We had bought online before and had to get TRCS to test the ram that turned up because we couldn't get a laptop to boot. They told us that both sticks were dead and gave us a letter to confirm this for a return. Suffice to say we bought ram off them that time (which worked) and now this time. Once again, both sticks have worked and even better the new rig booted first time. Honestly better than buying off the internet and about the same price with P&P - (for 2 x 16gb of decent speed ram). Thanks once again!
