For an internationally recognised name and abundance of highly scientific and important marine science being undertaken, the building is in desperate need of revamping both internally and out, it's an eyesore on the landscape and aged badly, as well as not being particularly well suited to its style of works now.

Really love this place,takes me back to calmer days,just how a seside beach should be,great for kids and family, cosy cafe close to the beach,sit outside enjoy the view, meet after walking the dogs,and drink your favourite coffee and food
