Put my car in for an oil and oil filter change only to receive a call to be told there’s additional work that needed to be carried out. I agreed to the tracking for ~£50 and on collecting the car this was added to the bill along with a ‘special oil’ surcharge. This was sent through to the machine card reader and before paying the £75s I asked to see the tracking report. 10 minutes later the gentleman behind the desk returned to say that the tracking had not been done because they’d run out of ink. This would have been known so how many others have paid for work not carried out. Also said my car required new front discs and pads; I had 4 new tyres at a leading tyre centre the day before and was told categorically that the discs were fine but the pads do need replacing but not £200s if additional work. Lipped discs are perfectly acceptable, safe and within limits.

Guys at f1 are legends, I own a ridiculously low car which is a struggle to jack up in the normal way, the guys got together and sorted a work around, watched the whole process and was impressed, appreciate the help and the new tyres, couldn't fault them what so ever 100% recommended, thank you guys ?

Having always received good service in the past I booked online for an air conditioning regas and clean which was on offer. Howevr upon arrival 25 Jun 2024. I was informed that they can not regas modern cars (ie) those after 2017 registration as they use a different environmental friendly gas in these cars/vans and at Lichfield Branch they do not have the equipment. I would have thought that they should have known this when taking my booking and payment. At twice the cost of £145 now I had to travel to Burton on Trent to have the job done.
