I've given one star because its not possible to give none. This was the first, and last time I'd used this garage
I topped up my car with diesel at this garage and as my wife wanted a soft drink I asked her to pay for the fuel as well.
I thought no more about it till a demand from fuel guardian arrived at the door.
A quick check of my bank statement proved I'd payed.
I called the garage and spoke to Steve the manager who immediately assumed my guilt and was very defensive. After he'd checked the amount on my bank account with his records and verified the last four digits on the card used he still didn't apologise or believe me but asked me to hold the line while he did more checks.
I called back the next day to be told it was his mistake. He'd seen me fill up on cctv then get in the car and drive off assuming I'd not paid.
He was very sorry and this had not happened before. Other reviews suggest he does this all the time.
He took my email and promised to copy me in on the cancellation letter to the recovery company. Im still waiting

Never seem to have more than one left hand pump open

Don't trust calor gas website there is no 24 HR access to gas our tourer ran out and travelled 20 mins to be told they had none (lie) as cage had plenty. Story changed to the staff member was caged in like an animal. Thanks on a cold night with no heat!!!

So I came to this petrol station on the 16th feb 2024 filled up and put 16 pounds of petrol and made my way into the shop when I was in the shop I got number of items, I went to the counter to pay for my items as well as FUEL, told the woman behind the counter to pay for the fuel the women was called josene who I made a payment to, when I got home yesterday I’d had a letter off fuel guardian, notifying me that done i had driven off Without paying for my fuel at all and the payment that I’ve had to pay was is now £61!!! I’m absolutely outraged at such daylight robbery, it’s out of order, so I rung the petrol station today and spoke to the manager Steve and as Steve did not know I’d run the petrol station the day before and spoken to one of the workers there and he had a look on the cameras for me [As Steve was the manager] and could clearly see I had gone in to pay!! I went to pay for my things and my fuel as I pointed out I had fuel to pay for, so for someone else mistake I’ve had to pay 3 times as much what the fuel was meant to be, this fuel station is a complete and utter joke covering they own backs cause they have messed they should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

After speaking with Steve, he then attempted to say I’d driven off , with no attempt to pay, but after looking at the video evidence he just tried to say we didn’t point at the pump, but nodded towards it….so requested Audio on the video, to push my point over I’d requested the correct pump!
Steve then said-(conveniently) there was no audio on the video,

Not only did the letter arrive the day the 7day payment was due, there is no tel no to contest/or put your side to the matter

Utter madmass, and completely unacceptable of this situation.

Paul the cashier is incredibly rude!! Refused to serve me as he said he didn't have enough change. A shop witj no change!! What if I had put fuel in my car? Sure he would have been able to serve me in that situation. I hope your manager reads this Paul, your a rude, prick!

When this was Morrisons all the fuel pumps were in use but now most are empty. It's normally a good fuel station and use to be the best in the area. But not at the moment .....let's hope it gets better hence my low score 6 out 10.....

Since the garage was taken over it has gone down hill dramatically. They never have all the pumps on and you can't tell which are off until you pull along side. Several times I have pulled into a free pump to find it is off. Then, by the time I reverse someone behind me has pulled into one of the open ones, leaving me in a queue. They need to get their act together and either put all the pumps on, or have visible signs giving drivers advanced warning of switched off pumps.

When shopping here, noticed how they purposly add £2 to all items, even the petrol from this station is questionable at best, the staff there are amazing, just downside is how they tend to feel embarrassed when checking out the items, often times when grabbing a bite to eat, I use the other garage in Fence Houses, honestly this place is a joke, it's even ran by Morrisons which is just amazingly bad the shop can be.

Regular Morrisons doesn't even add an extra £2 to products, absolutely a scam place togo
