Nicely set out really open, clean, good food options, carpark easy to get out of. Only marked down as multiple soap dispensers in female toilets not working. Think it will be nice to sit outside in summer. Made a good break on a long journey.

We had a good hour here on our way back from London. Had two kids with us so we needed a good choice of eateries. The place was reasonably clean with a lot to choose from. We had different things from around the food area and sat together. Toilets were clean and all in all a good place to stop on a long journey.

Only stopped here for a Costa coffee.
However, we were pleasantly surprised by the first class facilities.
There are two seater enclosed booths that allow for business meetings etc.
Yes, a pleasant stop for a change.
Take note: The toilet paper is the thinnest I've ever come across in my life ?

Update: visited again 5 April 2024 and they've installed loads of fast chargers right outside the door. So pleased we can keep using Donington services in our EV.
Great lunch options, for veggies and even coeliac veggie options.
Clean toilets, some device chargers in food hall - great if travelling with kids who live online.

Be warned parking scam in force as the system can tell what time you enter or leave. Gone to appeal but being chased because they can tell when you leave or enter.
Also beware there is a no return policy as the system can tell if you left the day before and renter the next day
Customer service is poor from head office.
Burger king is slow but Costa staff are friendly enough and provide a good service

Very rare when I choose motorway services but if I have to, always choose kfc instead the 2 burger franchise. Till today ?
Ordered 10 pcs spicy wing meal and so “randomly” 10 out of 10 were the lower wings with 1 bite meat between the two bones. Nor even 1 upper wing. I don’t know, probably the staff can take home the leftover after the shift or they keep them for regulars and insiders but it’s ridiculous. I had no time to go back to complain, unfortunately.
