Refitting our Dutch Barge here. Only marina in the area that has a crane big enough for the lift. Good quiet location to work, top help from the Hermitage crew on the project and nice group of people here on the liveaboards. Location offers a marina basin, riverfront, workshop and hardstanding. Basic for the moment, but I know there are development plans on the way, so watch this space as they say.

The man who runs this Marina is really quite unpleasant to anyone who dares to use the EA mooring pontoon alongside his marina and walk along the PUBLIC footpath across his land with a dog or a bike (separate people on 2 separate occasions.) As a result he lost out on filling us up with diesel. I think he resents the fact that you can moor for 48 hours for free outside his marina and get a free pump out. He really needs to treat potential customers a bit better because he really put us off to the extent that I wrote a bad review and I will very rarely do that.

Not really open to the public for usage but scenic and able to pass through on public footpath and also have a pic nic lunch without much trouble.
