We've only visited Nando's in Durham a couple of times, but it already looks like this will be our favourite Nando's. Despite being busy, the restaurant has plenty of space both inside and outside, which is great for a comfortable dining experience.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and understanding, especially towards our need to take care of our little daughter. They provided us with colouring paper and crayons to keep her busy while we waited for our food. This small gesture made a big difference and added to our pleasant experience.

Prices are standard for Nando's, and all the usual standards are maintained. The restaurant is clean, and the facilities, including the toilets which are located upstairs, are well-maintained. This setup contributes to a cleaner environment, unlike some places where tables are right next to toilet doors – not the case here at all.

I highly recommend this Nando's and will gladly give it five stars. The dishes are served at the correct temperatures, with cold dishes being cold and hot dishes being hot, so no unpleasant surprises with warm salads or cold chicken. The restaurant appears to be sufficiently staffed, ensuring there are no delays in service.

Overall, Nando's in Durham is a fantastic place to dine, whether for a quick meal or a relaxed family outing.

I had an amazing experience at Nando’s, and the standout was definitely the incredibly friendly service from the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to help. The team made sure everything was perfect, from recommending dishes to checking in throughout the meal to ensure I was happy. It’s clear that they care about their customers and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The delicious food was the cherry on top of a fantastic visit. Five stars for Nando’s – I can’t wait to come back!

3* overall as I just don’t get the Nando’s hype. The service here wasn’t bad, the self service thing really blows my mind with so many people standing around all the time. A nice atmosphere, food was tasty but not massive portions and definitely wouldn’t say it was cheap. Wouldn’t be my first choice but you know exactly what you’re getting I guess

Lost my wallet and the staff were super helpful, even offering to check CCTV and get back to me. Food is always great, but the management staff's help to something that wasn't their problem was excellent. Will definitely be coming back. (Luckily found my wallet, if anyone I spoke to reads this, thank you)

Nando's in Durham is a great place to relax and catch up with friends in a comforting environment. The food quality has been consistently good at this branch, which is always a plus. However, one noticeable downside is the increased prices across all branches, which is unfortunate.

The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, but it can get quite busy, as I experienced when I visited on a Wednesday evening around 7 PM. There was a queue, which was a bit surprising for a weekday. The staff, though, are friendly and accommodating. One minor inconvenience is that they encourage customers to order through a QR code, which can be annoying for those who prefer a traditional menu like myself.

On the bright side, the cleanliness of the bathroom was notable, adding to the overall positive impression of the restaurant.

All in all, Nando's in Durham is a decent dining spot, especially considering the limited options available in Durham. Despite the higher prices and the digital ordering process, it remains a reliable choice for those looking for a tasty meal and a cosy place to spend time with friends.

Promptly shown a table and ordered via QR code on table. Drinks arrived soon after and food shortly after that. Food was well presented, hot and tasted good. Definitely recommend.
