Having been assigned to outsource IT development and support as the business was growing rapidly, I searched for IT companies across the UK. I was looking for a company that could "do it all" including server and desktop maintenance and support, website and software development as well as support apps and integration that the company had either developed themselves, or had inherited as part of a large set of company mergers.
I found many development companies, particularly web developers, but they would not look at existing systems and were not interested in supporting apps or integrations that they had not developed themselves, and these could not support the hardware.
I also spoke to many support companies that take a cookie-cutter approach to server and desktop support but do not have any bespoke software capabilities.
Eventually, I found Flywheel, the only company that, when I explained what we needed, actually said yes to everything! Not only that, but after a brief handover period, they delivered everything they promised... and more! Now they are not only supporting all day-to-day server and desktop maintenance and support, supporting and enhancing the existing suite of software and integrations, but also adding value to the business by developing new solutions whilst at the same time offering improvements, reducing risk and adding cost savings across the business.
Flywheel are really nice people to work with. Nothing is too much trouble, and they pay for themselves many times over with the services, savings, and improvements they offer. I would highly recommend them to any business looking to improve or outsource their IT functions.
