Good Breakfast That’s a false advert for a start. Food was probably the blandest thing I’ve tasted in a long time, the service was woefully inattentive at best. The server couldn’t have seemed less interested in being there. The sausage was absolutely tasteless like eating play dough. I absolutely adore black pudding, but, this was so inedible that I left half of it! That’s NEVER happened before. The food was luke warm on accounts of the server putting all the elements of the breakfast on a stone cold plate and leaving it at the side of the Till, THEN cracking the egg to cook. This meant my food was on a stone cold plate in a cold diner for about 2/3 minutes the egg? Well just look at the picture? How anyone can say this is a good egg to serve is beyond me! She had cracked the yoke when putting the egg on the grill! Not even asking if I would like a new one! And literally chucked it about the grill and onto my now cold food. To top it off it was 11 quid with out a tea or toast Good breakfast ?
Seriously Bad Breakfast is what should be on the gantry! It only got one star as for a change to the norm the tea was lovely but tbh that’s because it was Yorkshire Tea and other than add hot water I made it myself!

Only stopped for a quick pit stop.
Parking was ok, limited spaces but it was peak travel time and very busy.
Good selection of chain stores and fast food outlets which is typically what's needed on a long journey.
It's more expensive than high street stores as is the fuel but that tends to be the nature of all motorway services. Imagine it costs a lot to keep them running and they have to make a profit.
Toilets were clean and felt the place overall was reasonably clean considering the volume of people using the services compared to the number of staff working there.

Sanitary facilities, showers, and bathrooms have all been renovated. The shower cabins are spacious with private space, their own sink, and a mirror.
Unfortunately parking for HGV is very limited so uou need to be lucky to find a parking spot.
But anyway I highly recommend that place.

For us long drive from Oxford to central belt. Charnock richard north is a good place to stop and refresh caffeine levels. The supermarket is quite upmarket but has a good selection of sandwiches etc. for this who need a break to get screen time there is game store. The toilets are clean.

Plenty of space to park your vehicle, well signed so you'll know where to leave your ride, there's KFC, Starbucks, Waitrose, Subway.....you will not leave the place hungry or thirsty for sure ha ha.

Stopped for a break from driving with family. Everywhere very clean, with new toilet facilities which are very good. Had food in Burger King. This was the downside to our break. Burgers were cold, coffee luke warm. not the best

It’s very lovely ? lounge in GF for tea ☕️ break with your family and friends.
I was with my family for a lunch visit on noon time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and specially food ? was delicious ? and green
It’s very nice environment with good condition and nice view for short break near to lake.
We stopped in here for rest and have a lunch ? and small shopping.

Their fish ? and chips ? was very tasty ? and different.
I strongly recommend if you are on that area staying and rest as I found them very well,
Also you can park very close to main road and not very crowded only be careful when you want to exit please U turn and back the same way as you entered.

Just been here - 01/09 Sunday 11:55am while driving back home from a holiday up North. At mid day itself, most of the ladies toilet cubicles look like battlefields, with toilet paper strewn all over the floors, sanitary towels overflowing from the bins and some on the floors.

And did just a double take to see a MAN in his 60’s drying his hands in the ladies toilet dryers, possibly after using the LADIES cubicles?!? When the Men’s loos are just beyond the ladies loos?This is beyond ridiculous, either the Signage needs to be improved or the world has clearly gone mad. Please sort it out guys, thank you!
