You can walk up the bridleway to get next to this. You can make it later of a circular stroll around Horton and visit the church too. Worth the visit, views are lovely.

Awesome building sitting proud on the hilltop must be amazing views from the top but alas not open when I was there. Not sure if it ever opens to the public but easy to walk to if you are mobile and reasonably fit. Parking not anywhere close either unless you manage to get into the 2 space layby by the track leading to the tower.

We ended up here without planning and he saw such a beautiful sunset and we were the only people here surrounded by sheep. It was really nice to have this place by ourselves. It def worths a visit!

Didn't get a chance to go up to the tower as was on my way home after shooting a wedding in Christchurch so I don't know how to get to it. Suffice to say it caught my attention from the road and peaked my interests enough to pull over into the layby on the main road that I spotted the tower from, get out and snap this from the road on a grey and rainy day. Don't know anything about the tower but going to have a Google and don't know if you can get into the tower. Would be cool if you can!

Awesome old folly. Came across this by chance. Parked in lane and walked to the folly through the field of sheep.
Would loved to be able to see inside.!!!

Lovely walk, lots of sheep in April. Parking is tricky, a few spaces in horton and in a layby before drusillas in, you kind of just have to be lucky.

Highly visible for miles around yet poorly signposted when close up..it is possible to walk along a public footpath to near its base but there is no access to the tower itself.
