I took "Responsible Animal Research: Critical, Challenging & Creative Thinking course" with DR Nikki and it was amazing experience.

The course was for 4 days, and she explained the following topics in details
1- Animal use and the 3Rs
2-Research integrity within the laboratory animal sciences
3- Basic good practice in experimental design and planning
4- Animal Welfare

After each session there was a homework related to our personal project, and she gave us a valuable feedback and comments.

As a PhD student, she taught me an in-depth knowledge related to animal study.

The course was very instructive from the first to the last minute and the downloadable material really up to date. Moreover, the sessions were well balanced between presenting and interactive parts. Before the course started, I was asked about my specific interests and was surprised that clearly some adjustments about regulations had been made to suit my needs. Highly recommend!

I attended one of the the Responsible Research in Practice training on "Animal Research: Critical, Challenging & Creative Thinking". I really enjoyed all the sessions. The range of topic covered and resource materials were quite useful and educative. Going forward, I am sure the things I have learnt would inform both my current and future research.
