I recommend Hook Home Help to anyone in need of support.

I chose Penny for her friendly and caring nature, her empathy and considerate can-do approach. I soon learnt how dependable she is and that’s reassuring when hiring to support my mother.

Penny has never missed a beat in the support she offers and that has come as a great relief after being let down over and over in the past. She keeps an activity log too and relays on any news deemed relevant to keep me informed and up to speed. You just can’t find this level of care elsewhere.

Beforehand I was struggling to support mum’s appointments and tasks around the home and became quite stressed and overwhelmed. I rest easy now I know mum’s in good hands.

Penny helps with appointments, travel to appointments and moral support in and out of home. She helps around the home and light gardening too, and making telephone calls and mail order and shopping trips, just to name a few.

In a very short time Penny has become a friend rather than a 'helper/carer to my Mum. She's upbeat and friendly, willing to help, listen, and offer support and assistance in any way she can and extremely flexible with her time and planning. Penny has helped our elderly relative for the last 3 months. Being on his own at 93 years of age, Penny has become a vital part of his life. She visits once a fortnight to clean bathrooms, hoover and do a bit of dusting. Her time is much appreciated and I know he looks forward to her visits. Thank you so much Penny for your support, your service is more than chores, it’s also a friendly chat over a cup of tea before you leave each time.
