The driver was very polite and professional, I enjoyed the smooth and efficient ride. Very happy with the service provided by the driver, however, the taxi dispatch was quite rude and asked me “to hurry up and give him the postcode ! “I was not even 10 seconds on the call and he didn’t seem to interested on my service and seemed as he had better things too do than assisting on taking my booking. It was shocking that such rude people are allowed to behave in this way. Is a shame that such people are still employed and get away to speaking to customers this way. I give them ZERO stars, very disappointed!

Been using this service for a long time, although the name Village Cars threw me at first. Drivers always friendly. For the most part, taxis arrive promptly.

Awkward to rate, everything spot on, pick up time met, driver courteous and what you would want. I booked a return trip and I thought the price was for both trips, charged £120 from Weston to Biggleswade and back time in the taxi worked out at £4 per minute ?

Driver was good, 5 minutes late but not the end of the world, also waited 5 mins for me to pick up a take away on the way so we’ll call that even. After being dropped off I received 6 text messages asking me to rate them 5 stars, so they receive 4 stars.

Last minute booking at 2am from hospital, home.
Arrived promptly and was very polite, friendly, and comfortable company.
The journey was smooth and efficient, about 30 minute drive.
Will definitely be using this company again in the future and will recommend to others to do so too.

Watch out for their fixed rates, my usual £25 journey cost £35- just their 'fixed rate', nothing they can do. Write, what a price hike they have?

I will not be using this firm again
I missed my train into London because they weee late and to add insult to injury charged an extra fee to go to the next station along to try and catch it
I was impressed by their later offer of a free fare /trip
So taxi home booked despite two calls to them failed to acknowledge that they had offered me a free trip and instead sent a pre payment link to confirm the taxi being sent
