The Lamb is set in the heart of the pretty village of Hindon. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. Our room was cosy and comfortable with all the amenities you could want for a pleasant stay. Dinners were divine! No usual pub food here, everything we had was excellent and we had service to match. What’s more, the hotel is dog friendly and that even extends to the restaurant! We would thoroughly recommend and certainly hope to return!

Very comfortable Pub with well appointed rooms with air-con. Food and hospitality always top notch. Breakfast was very yummy. Room very comfortable with little extras that make the stay so much more. Always stay here when I’m in the area, the open fire in the pub in winter is very inviting.

Pleasant and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, authentic and well-run local pub / hotel.
We had room 11, a family room and, on check-in, were disappointed by the wealth of mechanical air handling plant outside the window. We asked to change rooms, but this was not possible due to it being a busy weekend. I was told by the person who checked me in that the kitchen extract is turned off at 9pm, and isn’t turned back on until 9am next morning. However, clearly the kitchen extract is only part of the mechanical plant, because something else (louder than the extract) was cutting in and out all night long. It woke me at 5:15am on the first morning of our stay.
Fully accept that mechanical plant is a necessary part of any hotel. We just struck unlucky on this occasion. Not an issue though for anyone who’s not particularly sensitive to noise.
Dinner service was very slow - we only had a 2-course meal, but were at the table for 2 hours. Again, probably due to it being a busy weekend.
A lovely place, though. Would certainly stay again.

Made a detour here for late supper on a bleak Sunday evening on our way to the West Country and actually wished we’d realised they also had rooms as well. Good warm welcome, good atmosphere in the pub as well. Scallops were delicious as was the hock and leek pie. Unfortunately no room for dessert so we didn’t, but hope to come.back sometime soon to give them a try!

We had a lovely stay at The Lamb. The property has very comfortable rooms with a lovely quaint feel (we booked two rooms for our group). The food was a real highlight for me, absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. It's also well located for local sights such as Stonehenge.
