I was a bit skeptical about staying here because of the reviews, but I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay here. Check-in and check-out was easy and quick. My room was very spacious and clean. They clean the room every day, which is hard to find in the post-pandemic era. I tried their breakfast once and it was really good. I would definitely recommend the restaurant “Southern elements” which can be found in the lobby. Amazing food. I kept going back. Hotel is very spacious with several restaurants, fitness area and an overpriced shop. Location is ideal as you are close to all the main sites in the downtown. The only downside is the noise. Rooms are not soundproof so you can hear the noise from the hallway and from the room next door. I could sleep easily without any problem. Some of the bad reviews are about the parking, which I can’t comment on, as I didn’t have my car with me. I am looking forward to heading back there on my next trip to Atlanta.

Love this place. Everything was perfect. I loved the bar in the lobby. The staff was perfect. I can only say personally that the sightseeing elevators on both ends of the bank of elevators was designed by a demon. I HATED getting on those elevators. Being able to see all the floor because it was enclosed in glass as you're going up, or you're going down is just traumatic. 2 of the elevators are located on the outside of the building, so that when you get onto them, you can see the skyline as you're going up and it is horrifying. I am quite sure that some people think it is beautiful and romantic but not for me. Everything else was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Came for an anniversary night. Check-in was long but service was good. Room was nice and the view was great. Had dinner at Trader Vics, review pending. Overall a good night. Only nit was parking. Mixed signals on the Trader Vics page about free parking. No Free Parking! Seems a shame that guests and residents must pay a premium for parking.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It’s older but been renovated, and very chic inside.

The service in every department was outstanding!! The Valet gentleman gave me local recommendations to eat. The front desk were helpful throughout my stay, and checked on me each day by text. The cafe was well stocked with a wide variety of options for food, snacks and drinks, and the staff were all so attentive and kind. The restaurant had an abundant buffet…. And the lady who cooks the omelettes made my mornings bright with her energy, smile and laughter. Housekeeping was incredibly efficient and respectful. I don’t remember the last time I had such a wonderful all-around experience at a hotel. And I was there for five nights!! Big thanks to the staff for creating experiences that made my stay very special.

I stayed here on business recently. Service here was quick and friendly, food at the market place was convenient and good. The gym was also very nice and clean. My issues are with the parking and with the room. The shower couldn’t get very hot at all, there was a lot of visible dust everywhere, and the bathroom was very cramped. Parking was ridiculously expensive ranging from $27-35 daily for self-parking and $55 for valet parking. I was constantly leaving the hotel and returning for work, so all of those parking fees definitely added up. Other than that, the hotel was conventionally located to where I needed to be and was easy to navigate. I don’t think it’s worth the price point at all, but I had a safe and adequate time staying here.

The Room:
The bed was comfortable. There were lots of outlets. No overhead lightning. Even with all the lamps on, the room wasn't as well lit as I would like (when the blinds were closed). The window did let in a lot of light, so this isn't a problem in the daytime. But I'm not in my room in the daytime, so you can see my issue with this.
The floor of my room was dirtier AFTER room service left. I came back in to find orange crumbs and a clump of hair (that I know was not mine) on the carpet. The bathroom had a gross mildewy smell (although it did get lighter after room service cleaned).
Sadly, the windows don't open, so I couldn't let in any fresh air. I don't think the bathroom had any vents - at least none that I could hear.

Location:
The Coca Cola museum, aquarium, and Olympic park are an easy walk away.

Business:
For a business conference, we used a ballroom, salon, and multiple conference rooms. The space was great - more than big enough to fit everyone and everything. The staff that set-up tables, chairs, and the stage plus the staff that served breakfast were also great. The staff door on the side is supposed to be closed during shows, but staff were constantly going in and out of it. Some made sure to close the door quietly while others let it slam loudly, disrupting speechs.
In the room we were using as a staff office, the ceiling started to leak and parts of it fell. The hotel told us the bathroom overhead was the issue (so gross!). They constructed a temporary barrior to ensure no one went in while they fixed it (which only took one day). When we needed to move all of our stuff to a new location because of this, a staff member brought over a trolley and just stood and watched us load everything ourselves. He straight up told us he would only help us move anything if we tipped him first.

Other:
There's a cute little cleaning robot that roams the hallways. Seeing it always made me smile.
Some of the elevators shook violently in a way that made me sure it was about to break down with me inside it. The only smooth elevators were the ones situated half outside the building. So you get a nice view going up and down on those.

I generally liked this hotel. Main problem was contacting the front desk in advance of my visit (just couldn’t get through and Hilton central couldn’t help me) and getting my receipt. I checked out online and via text. It took 3 days and repeated texts to obtain my receipt. Then I got a barrage of emails – all to a different address than I had requested. Lol. It’s fine, but I don’t see why they asked for my email and then didn’t send it to the email that I specified. Hilton is a really messed up hotel chain. Any group rate means that you cannot get any help through the Hilton main number or online. This is so stupid. The hotel itself is fine. Looks older, especially compared to the Marriott next door. But the room was nice, and the housekeeping was first rate. Very efficient. Provided extra cups and coffeemate based on my request written on a napkin. I was attending a conference, popping in and out of my room. The cleaners always managed to clean my room when I hoped they would. I was staying on the top floor, and I do not recommend this. Takes forever to get down the elevator. They have 8 elevators, but none are designated as express for the upper floors. Nice little “market” on the 1st floor. Picked up some Trader Vic’s fried rice there that I really enjoyed. Also, I got a welcome package with macaroons that was excellent. Not sure where these came from, but I would get more. Conference rooms were fine. Too cold, which is standard. But a nice little conference zone overall. Easy access to Marriot. Recommend getting coffee there at Starbucks. Order on the app, and it seems to always be ready by the time you get there.

(Lifetime Diamond - thousands of nights in Hiltons over the years)

Very nice hotel with a clean and comfortable room. Well lit, very good HVAC, clean bathroom. Lobby market was great, much better than I expected and more selection than any other Hilton I can think of. Staff we all helpful and professional. Only downside was the noise from streets and local club(?) music playing into the early morning hours. While the hotel can't control that, the music beat still keeps you awake. Convenient to downtown and Ga Tech.
