Our experience….

We were very happy users of Stirling Solutions Transport software for over 20 years, until they were unfortunately bought out by Mandata and the Stirling software discontinued. Although we had our reservations about signing up with Mandata, we were offered a good price compared to other products on the market and it allowed us to continue accessing our Stirling data FOC.

We began using Mandata’s Go Plus software in January and it has been nothing short of an expensive nightmare.
Issues include:
- Planned work, drivers names, vehicles and trailers constantly dropping out of the system or showing against the incorrect job. Dragging and dropping work into vehicle slots causes the previously allocated work to vanish.
- Disappearing paperwork – delivery notes are scanned into the system, allocated to a job only to find out that despite the system showing paperwork has been booked and scanned against the job no paperwork is actually there.
- Constant issues with invoicing, fuel surcharges not being applied, had an issue with a huge number of customers not receiving invoices from the system which took two months to resolve.

Basically, we can’t trust the system to successfully show planned work, scanned documents, or invoice successfully. Not really much use as a TMS System. This is all on top of system that is poorly designed, frustrating to use, and fraught with issues and glitches.

The absolute worst thing about Mandata and the system is the customer service and support.

We have no point of contact, account manager etc. I have raised my issues with our trainer, her manager and support. The implementation manager advised he was sitting down with the developers on 12th March to run through the issues, however despite chasing I am now receiving no response from anyone at Mandata. Of course they continue to charge us…..

Even for minor issues raised with support, ie, constant error messages, invoices that won’t print, jobs stuck in the wrong status, fuel surcharges not working, the list goes on, you are looking at over a week minimum to get a resolution.

Threatening to cancel our contract seems to fall on death ears and is not something we really want to do given Mandata hold all our data from Stirling and our work for the last 3 months. Transferring to a new TMS system is a big move and one we shouldn’t have to make…

The biggest surprise it that we have been told we are the only ones having these issues, which I don’t believe can possibly be true and I would be very interested to here from others that are also having issues.

Also worth noting that many of the positive reviews shown appear to be from Mandata staff including Daniel who sold us the system.

Absolutely appalling customer service on top of an unreliable, unstable and buggy shambles of a product.

Mandata's 24 hour business critical support line staff don't answer the phone.

If you are looking for a decent TMS save yourself a lot of time, money and stress, take it from someone who has persevered and given Mandata chance after chance to sort out major issues, and please look elsewhere.

I will not recommend. There are other cloud TMS on the market that are better than this.

Sales team is making all kind of promisses that the software has functions that do not exist once you sign up.
