Love love love ❤️ |I had under estimated my epic walk and missed check in & with dark setting in Jacqui was on the phone to me and sorted out my rescue! I am forever grateful! Not only that but I was warmly welcomed with cup of tea and cake and shown to my room - magnificent! What luxury. It was warm, comfortable, opulent. As recommended I took a short walk to The Swan for a lovely dinner and pint. Upon my return i enjoyed the amazing walk in shower. |I was offered two different times for breakfast and was delighted by the attention I received ( while still feeling sheepish for my last nights rescue!) |I enjoyed fresh juice, coffee, a lovely musli with Greek youth and berry compote followed with a seeded toast, scrambled eggs and salmon! |Not only the above but the location is perfect! It was so nice to directly on the Hadrians wall route with no additional detour. Thank you so much for having me ?

We were so well looked after during our Hadrians walk adventure. The bedroom was beautiful with stunning views and I loved how we got breakfast in slots so it was just my partner and I. The smoked salmon was lovely and the owners very helpful. Even chased after us when we forgot our packed lunch! X

Jacqui and Kevin are fabulous hosts , making you feel welcome and at home. They greet you with tea and coffe on arrival. Excellent easy booking and payment beforehand confirms a smooth check in. Breakfast is delicious, with a gorgeous view to start the day. Rooms are luxurious, immaculate and very comfortable, you will look forward to going to sleep at night. We stayed for the weekend to visit family for a party. There is a local pub up the hill that does yummy meals for lunch or dinner. A taxi to town costs around £20 to £25. We look forward to staying again.

Stayed recently as part of walking the Hadrian’s Wall Path. Simple, straightforward and comfortable accommodation in a family home. Lovely comfortable bed, great shower and a nice breakfast in the morning. And super friendly hospitality from the owners. All very nice.

This was our first stop of a 4 day walk along Hadrian's Wall Path, and after a tiring train journey with delays, we were warmly welcomed by Jackie who had tea and cake ready for us. This is a fantastic location with views across the Tyne valley and a lovely pub just a couple of minutes away. Our room was immaculate, very clean, a comfortable bed with all the facilities we required and more. Breakfast was so nice, fruit, greek yoghurt, toast, scrambled egg and smoked salmon. There was always a selection of tea and coffee available too. Jackie was really helpful during our stay and made us a lovely packed lunch. This was excellent accommodation which I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend! We hiked Hadrian's wall this summer. This was our first stop on the trail. The home and rooms are beautiful. Jackie is an amazing host! Wonderful. We were in a bind about getting our bags along the Wall, and she offered and was able to get us baggage service for our hike on short notice. Life saver! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house with stunning views. 3 weary walkers were greeted with a pot of tea and homemade cake on the veranda on arrival where we enjoyed the panoramic views. Rooms were so comfortable and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Jackie was a delightful host.
