The entire medical staff at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital treated me with the best professional and quiet frankly best medical care compared to any other hospital that I've had prior experience with. And while this was definitely a major medical situation for me, the doctors, nurses, techs put me at ease. At the time of this statement my health is improving. I am very thankful and indebted to the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital staff who took great care of me.

Excellent service from top to bottom. Everyone I encountered was friendly and very helpful in navigating the building and whatever I needed throughout my visit. They provided the most professional and thorough medical care I've ever received. You can feel that they actually care about their patients. Highly recommend!

My visit today at Georgetown Neuro ophthalmology was great! I really appreciate the kind assistance I received from Ben, the technician. His helpfulness in assisting me with my wheelchair was especially appreciated. He answered all of my many questions and deferred to Dr.Osborne when necessary. I was thoroughly pleased with my visit. And the coordinator at the front desk is also very, very nice!

My partner experienced a very unpleasant time at this hospital's emergency room. They arrived to be treated for a respiratory emergency at 9:15, but after triaging two hours later unfortunately left the ER at 8:30 the next day without having been seen as they cannot afford the luxury of spending more than 12 hours waiting to be serviced. Medstar should better communicated with its partners if they don't have a bed open, which was clearly the case here, instead of leaving its patients to rot. We would have appreciated more transparency and cooperation from the hospital staff.

In the last year, I have seen several doctors from MedStar. Each one has been appropriately attentive, shared their knowledge and experience, and were reassuring. These doctors are relatively new to me, but each one gave me the confidence to continue in their care. When one lives with chronic pain, it is a comfort to find doctors who show concern.

I have been here so many times that I cannot remember, I am 71 for an excuse. This hospital is the very best in Washington DC. I have been to many others but they don't come close to the care, love and expertise in medical care. The doctors Anne FABRIZO and her team have taken excellent care of me as well as the many other doctors and nurses. I have been on every floor of this hospital so I have met many and they all have treated me the same wonderful. Thank you Georgetown University Hospital my go to hospital for the rest of my life.

My entire experience from check in to check out was very good. Dr. Vaz and his team were 10 out of 10. The nurse in recovery (Jennifer) was fantastic!!
Caring and professional. The nurses in the room were very good as well. Honestly there was a slight drop off on the night shift but fine. The only negative was the food service. The meals were fine. The first meal after the surgery was very good. The problem was I was missed on 2 meals.
I did not get dinner. I had to call several times and the finally sent me a sandwich. The next morning, I called and ordered breakfast and they told me that a breakfast was on its way and just send it back and wait for your order. Long story short, I never got breakfast. The kitchen finally brought my lunch after calling several times.
All in all a great experience but there is a major disconnect on the kitchen/hospital

The worst emergency room ever. I was seen in a timely manner. I had been sitting in the Consultation room number SG223 for over four hours. I continued to ask for assistance throughout my emergency room visit but none was given . I wasn’t ask questions , blood drawn nor did anyone check on my well being. They saved my partners life during his cancer treatments. On the other hand, I’m dissatisfied with the services that I experienced. The nurses at the station certainly need to be retrained in hospitality. I arrived at 4:40 pm and walked out unseen around 9:30pm. Therefore, I just sat there just to get a bill and no service. I’m going to Sibley Hospital tomorrow.
