Appalling company. I have been a client since 2019. There were no issues when I was contributing. After changing to a new employer with a very good pension plan, I decided to transfer my pension.
My partner also had a pension with Intelligent Money and decided to change his provider to his workplace too. It took over 40 days before they would transfer his funds and that was at the threat of making a complaint to the pension ombudsman. They then transferred the funds within a week.
However with myself it is now over 2 months. Mentions of the pension ombudsman have fallen on deaf ears, with promises to action the transfer “next week” coming but never happening. In this time my pension has lost value. The stress is causing my health condition to flare up and I am at my wits end. I have now made an official complaint to the ombudsman with copies of all our correspondence.
This company has no problem playing with people’s retirement and it’s disgusting.

Despite the few 'glowing' reviews which I suspect are Intelligent Money reviewing themselves, my experience with them as an individual client is appalling.
They take money from your account and trying to resolve issues is a nightmare. Even when I asked a Financial Advisor to transfer my account, the letters were ignored and yet more 'charges' came out. I have been charged almost £1,700 in 2 years on a cash balance of less than £50k when they have done absolutely nothing for me.
Hopefully, the new company who has taken them over will be more approachable and professional. IM as a company has been terrible.

Try phoning them the call goes to In Common Breath which is a Hong Kong book store based in nottingham. The new Company Quai digital who took over their business don't seem much better, they also don't answer the phone whete your call will go to Peterborough or respond to emails. Best to report it all to the pensions ombudsman. Previous directors of the previous company (Gp noble) got prison sentences when millions of pounds were diverted to offshore accounts. The government clawed back a fair few million pounds yet the rest is still missing. Not good.

I've been a client for around 4 years now. They've always replied to my emails and responded to my withdrawal requests everytime, with cash made available in expected time frames, no quibbles. I have pensions, ISA's, junior ISA's and my wife's ISA all managed professionally, promptly and whilst they can't instruct or advise, will answer my questions with honesty and integrity. Can't ask for more.

Since my husband passed away in April I have had no help at all from this company, I cannot even find out what type of account he had as they just don’t respond, my case has been on going since 22nd April 24, I’m resorting to ombudsman as I’ve run out of patience and just want it sorting, seems like a terrible company from my experience ?

We are extremely worried about the administration of Intelligent money. They are very slow to deal with transfers and money out, as well as being difficult to get in touch with. We have used them for many years with very good service but they have dropped a lot recently.
We are so concerned that we are in the process of moving our clients away from them. Not sure what is going on, but when service standards drop this much, it is not normally a good sign.

Diabolical customer service. For business that deals in financial transactions that are very often time sensitive. Their service level. Agreements are prehistoric no way at time of writing to contact them by telephone due to being shortstaffed. email service level agreement to respond within seven days. Do yourself a favour and avoid any transactions with this company whatsoever. They are an utter disgrace. Should anyone from intelligent money actually have the desire to contact me about this post and please respond. However, I don’t expect a response in seven days time.

Diabolical company. Despite continuing to receive my pension contribution from my employer they have stopped paying it in to my SIPP. They have removed my 3rd party Financial Advisor from the account so I now have to either get this reinstated or move everything myself. Also announced a one of 1% fee for clients who have a third party financial advisor & doubling of annual fees. Sharks at best. I am close to complaining to the FSA.
