Beautiful place with walks dotted around for all ages. Lovely little harbour with sand dune treks nearby. Everything close by if anything needed.

Miles and miles of perfect golden sand. When the tide is out, there are dunes and sea either side of you, and you can walk for hours on flat firm sand which is fabulous for running dogs. There are pebbles higher up the beach in some places.

Pebbles beach at the start, but when the tide goes out it's luscious Sand. Spent a couple of days in a BnB for a few day's in Millom, so nice straight drive of 10 mins . Little cafe is fab too. Go at the right time for the tides. Then you get to paddle or swim.
Dogs loved it .

If you walk along the beach, there is also a new cafe opening.

Beautiful beach for viewing the coastline and wildlife. The tide goes out a long way but comes in very quickly. Advise you stick to the shore line and paths as there is a lot of mud from the river. Fee parking nearby and a lovely café. Decent kids playground near the car park and toilets nearby too. Well worth a visit
