We were lucky enough to spend a couple of nights at this wonderful house. Excellent hosts, superb accommodation and delicious breakfasts. Caroline was also helpful in advising us where to eat locally. Food at The Kings Arms was very good. So much care was taken to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for four nights in what we thought would be a comfortable and well placed centre for exploring Suffolk. It fitted the bill superbly; well placed for a multitude of attractions and a fascinating place to stay in its own right. A historic, quirky house, homely and comfortable owned by our most welcoming hosts, Geoffrey and Caroline, who provided us with magnificent breakfasts, lovely evening meals, good company and good advice on what to see. Next time we visit Suffolk, we'll have to take in Haughty House on our trip.

Lived like a Lord and Lady for two nights thanks to Caroline and Jeffrey our brilliant hosts.
Superb breakfast and supper made with home grown produce.
A very interesting old house in a delightful location in a traditional English village.
Enjoyed interesting conversations and would need a lifetime to read all their historical books.
Will definitely stay there again if we're ever in Suffolk.

We spent two nights at Haughley House and had a "supper" on the second night. Very impressed, the old building has amazing character with many good features. The food was excellent, indeed the breakfast was faultlessly presented and delicious. ||There is good attention to detail, which is something that is often missed these days. Quality is prevalent everywhere, right down to the toilet rolls!||I definitely recommend this place, and hope to return ourselves.

East Anglia: picturesque villages, magnificent stately homes, medieval castles, beautiful gardens, impressive cathedrals and cute little churches and in the middle of all those places to visit Haughley House, a B&B steeped in history just off the A14 near Stowmarket. A pleasant night's sleep in a well-equipped room and in a very calm environment awaits you. In the morning a very extensive breakfast is served in a fairytale breakfast room and the evening meal, prepared by the owners Caroline and Jeffrey, deserves two Michelin stars.|We enjoyed it very much.

Thank you so much, Geoffrey and Caroline, for my stay at your lovely home and for being able to share your delightful company. It's the perfect opportunity and place for a rest from driving around seeing this and nearby parts of England. It's a also a very handy place for the amazing heritage sites in Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

Haughley House has everything I needed for a little sojourn or longer stay. It's really very comfortable and welcoming and, without doubt, is a place of peace among the flowers and fields and birdlife.

I'm well rested now and ready for the next stage of my travels and look forward to seeing you again next time I'm in East Anglia.
